It's funny how people say that SIDS is unpreventable and that there is nothing you can do. But based on research there are definitely ways to reduce the risk of SIDS. There's breast feeding for example and letting them sleep on their back, also never let them sleep with pillows (if they lay on it with face down they will choke). Also always make sure there's a constant air-flow in the baby's room, keep the temperature low (not freezing temperature duh). Those are all ways to reduce the risks.

Im sorry to say but sids is unpreventible and cant be stopped. Sudden infant death syndrom is were the baby dies for no reason. Its rare to safe an infant from it. So i would keep an eye in you little sis
