  • Good luck getting one this year. These things are going to sell like hot cakes. I know I will try. I prefer 10-12 inch barrels most of the time, but would still get this shorter one.

  • looks just like bearrts

  • Interesting gun....I always said...LWRC would be my other choice if I ever stray from my ArmaLites.....LOL...

Would still like to have a REPR..

    E1

  • I might just have to get rid of the wifey and pick up one of these sexy things some how! haha

    Great update of SHOT btw.

  • Awesome!

  • I'm an ak kinda cause of reliability but I would use the ak a scrap money if I could afford this!!!

  • I have a nickel boron bolt & bolt carrier group in my AR. There is no way it will go 11k rounds without lube. My friend tried it with his in a VTAC Carbine 1.5 class and it didn't make it passed 250 rounds.

  • 11,000 rounds without a single stoppage! Take that you AK ultimate reliability guys!

  • IT'S SO CUTE!

  • Ze power of Nickel BORON!

  • The 300 AAC is a 7.62 X 35 mm. Makes me wonder why they did not stay with 7.62 X 39 mm.

The ammo is almost $1 per round.

  • @frankgon4

REASONS 7.62x39 wAS NOT CONSIDERED Extreme cartridge taper • Reduces reliability of feeding in AR Magazines • Reduces Magazine capacity • Cartridge taper induces considerably higher bolt thrust- exacerbating the AR Bolt's weaknesses • Requires a larger Bolt Face which reduces Bolt Locking Lug strength- exacerbating the AR Bolt's weaknesses Limited projectile selection • 0.311" diameter not a common option in most modern bullets

  • @ms3bani Extreme Cartridge taper is a good for feeding reliabilty - it is the AR platform design, but a valid point. Is the 300 AAC capacity that much greater than the AK round as both are 7.62 diameter? Agreed on the "exacerbating the AR' bolt's weakness", Projectile selection is quite good - better than 300 AAC, Not sure why the concern with 0.311 diameter as both the 300 AAC and 7.62 would require a barrel change from AR platform.

  • @frankgon4 projectile selection in 0.308 (300 aac) is MUCH greater than that of 0.311 (7.62x39). 300 aac capacity is the same as 223/556 -- it uses the same case! 7.62x39 capacity is lower -- the case is ~20% larger than 223/556. 300 aac requires ONLY a barrel change, 7.62x39 requires barrel+bolt+magazines. bottom line: 300 aac provides ALL the advantages of 7.62 AND MORE on AR15 platform with NONE of the drawbacks of running 7.62x39 on a platform it wasnt designed for.

  • @ms3bani I checked around and did find AR-15 platform in 7.62X39, but dug further and these seem to suffer from feeding problems when using hollow points. So agreed that AR platform is not there for 7.62X39. I do like the 300 AAC ammo, but I could only find 3 types of 300 AAC ammo available and it is expensive. If you reload then more options are available, but limited varieties from manufacture at this time. I think ammo cost will make or break the 300 AAC.

  • @frankgon4 don't forget that 300 aac was also designed from the very beginning to support subsonic loads for suppressors. it's a fantastically versatile round. manufacturer support has exploded since 300 aac was SAAMI approved on 1/17/11, probably the fastest adoption of a new round in history, ever.

ammo prices are driven by demand. given how easy it is to run 300 aac on an AR-15 and how many new products are coming out, i expect to see significant drops in ammo prices this year.

  • @frankgon4 I'm probably more excited about my 300BLK build then any rifle in a few years. It really looks fun!

  • wOWWWW !!., full auto silenced 300 blackout sbr.., LWRCi makes the PSD better then anyone in the world., this is by far the nicest rifle ive seen outta all the shotshow footage this yr.., makes me glad that im from Maryland.., great job guys, as always.., now send me one for testing !!!

  • thats sick i gotta get that bolt man

  • I find the bolt interesting. 11,000 rounds from DI and no oil? That would be incredible if true. A bolt like that could really transform the entire AR platform if true.

  • @Corsair8X

    its Nickel Boron coating.

  • WoW 11k with out cleaning it . and its a DI gun.

  • @millster101 Look up the BCM Filthy 14 rifle.

  • Yo i need that lower asap !

  • interesting bolt.

  • I'm not buying it's quieter than a mp5sd at all, and 11k rounds no failure uh I think there should be a new rule every time a rep LIES

You get to give them one kick in the NUTS!

  • Sexy

  • So many AR variants. I love the AR.

  • 1:28 Direct Impingement (DI) is inherently more reliable than Piston? hmmmm

  • @juki009 i dont think he meant that i think he was refering to the lower pressure generated from subsonic ammunition they get more consistant results from DI.

  • @juki009 He is talking about the fact that a subsonic round would have a harder time pushing the piston back especially since its a smaller cartridge round.

  • @juki009

welp less weight. if your a conscript/child solider maybe not for u :D

  • @juki009

On AR15's yes. The gun was not designed around pistons. I have seen pistons fail far more than DI guns at matches.

  • @juki009 No it is not. It is more reliable with two different loads in this caliber. The gas block would have been too big and unweildy to run both sub and supersonic ammo with this gun suppressed and unsuppressed. As far as standard calibers, my rifle is OTB capable, can any DI rifle make that claim? That is what I thought, stop reading into things too much.

  • @Sleeper362 ..The gas piston system of the "PWS 9.5" - MK109 UPPER, 300 BLK", functions flawlessly with suppressed subsonic loads. "300 BLK from a 9.5 inch barrel has the same energy at the muzzle as a 14.5 inch barrel M4, and about 5% more energy at 440 meters - even though the barrel is much shorter."

  • That would be sick with a Beta-C mag stuck on it:)

  • This gun interests me more than anything else I have seen from all of SHOT.

  • Please make a video of that Sturmgewehr!

    I'd like to hear that!

    Oh wait...I can't hear it

  • i would absolutely love to own this

  • all of my want

  • I wonder if they will make PSD pistol in 300?

  • That rifle look good next to a Kel Tec KSG.

  • Will it be a semi auto or full auto when it hit the market?

  • nice carbine, id like to try it out

  • Very nice ! But in my opinion / thinking in reality its a waste to change to a 300 Blackout with a short barrel like that . i could understand a 12" or more 300 Blackout is not cheap

  • that little rifle looks like one sweet package...but huh..that huh, guy huh is huh hard to huh listen huh to

  • this is what they came up with to compete with the AAC Honey Badger.

  • very nice!i`ve been thinking of going 300 blackout on my new build, but was a little hesitant to go with it till i seen all these new 300 blackout builds and ammo choices!300 blackout, here i come!

  • looks like a toy my daughter has. She goes pew pew...

    Seriously, what's wrong with .308?

  • @MavHunter20XX weight and noise...possible over penetration

  • @MavHunter20XX read a bit more about it and you'll be impressed...your doubt comes from a lack of information i suspect...

  • @dlizzle Prolly, price of system overcomes want to comprehend.

  • 11,000 rds. without any failures???

I'm calling "BULLSHIT" on that one!!!

  • @DIECASTER I believe him more than I believe you.

  • @c0boy Most sheep do...

  • @DIECASTER you dont know much about nickel boron do you?

  • Are the upper and stock extension sold separately? I'd like to put one on a pre-86 Lower. Silly federal government crap, and all that...

  • DI ?

  • @seekwolf1 Direct impingement (as opposed to a piston retro-fit/redesigned upper).

  • That thing looks adorable :) (hehe)

  • I am NOT jumping on the 300 blackout bandwagon

  • Okay...is the bolt for sale?

  • Wow. this is amazing. I love LWRC. they're such a unique company. i have a lot of respect for those guys

i wanna get my hands ahold of the LWRC IAR with the 21" fluted barrel and acog scope. thats my wish

  • nice

  • Read somewhere this is a limited run. I really hope not, as I really like the concept but can't justify the cash at this point in my life. It definitely fills a unique role.

  • i want....

  • very nice

  • damn this video keeps poping up and i dont want to watch it...LWRC cost me 65 bucks last year and they could care less ..screw em

  • Wow! That looks like a really fun gun.

By the time you get the SBR and suppressor taxes paid though it would cost a bajillion dollars to own, not to mention buying some of that 300 blackout at ~$1 a round.

However, it DevGru or Delta ever call me to clear rooms with them, that's the gun I want. ; )

  • @giff74 400$ in taxes. 2,300$ for the rifle. Not expensive.

  • @1776PatriotTeen

    lol ya not expensive

  • @freestylmx311 I wasn't joking.

  • @1776PatriotTeen

lol I know you werent joking, I was being sarcastic...I believe that IS expensive but thats just me

  • Okay, I like LWRC's ambi lower better than Colts

  • that is one small 300blackout - too bad australia wont let me have one

  • Is the bolt Nickle Boron coated like the FailZero EXO?

  • @DontComeToMyHouse Yes, it is.

  • @Sturmgewehre Brother have you seen the KAC, PDW its good out to 300 meters and has a folding stock fires the 6x35mm i think you will like it other than the proprietary round do to the limited amount and not being mass-produced.

  • Looks similar to the AAC honeybadger

  • @robertw0925 Not at all...

  • beauty

  • QUIETER THAN AN MP5SD.

    thats real quiet!
