Your an imbecile. Enjoy supporting the same legislation that cartels love, and have actually thanked the USA for.. They only make 60% + of their money from cannabis.. And cartel leaders are only ranked amongst some of the richest men in the world.. No biggie right?.. Even if it happens to be less addictive then caffeine, less dangerous then a hamburger and less intoxicating then alcohol. Not to mention our spending of hundreds of billions on its prohibition to no avail. Very rational!
@2bpilot It elevates brain waves you should join the party. Either reply with something that's on topic or leave it alone. Being back into a corner doesn't mean you have to show your ass. You can't defend any claim that MJ is more harmful than Alcohol or any other controlled substance.
@2bpilot There's tons of scientific studies on the effects of meth and none of them are beneficial. That's like saying I raise pit bulls and you raise lions. Of course they should shut you don't that shit's dangerous lol! You do release that Alcohol is more debilitating that marijuana right? You know theres tons of studies on marijuana and most of the results are beneficial, especially for people with chronic pain. Why keep the drug illegal if the drug is less threatening than Nicotine?
@2bpilot Now with an outstanding number of PEOPLE using this drug but minorities are primarily arrested for this, it calls a lot of law enforcement tactics into question. I live in a predominately black quite neighborhood loaded with middle class working families. Cops patrol these streets 24/7. The same police presents isn't witness in predominately white neighborhoods in this area (Atlanta). Police profiling has created a situation in which minorities get caught using 10x more than whites.
@2bpilot You're clearly upset, but surely you can find some legitimacy in their argument. Its not boo hoo poor black man, its lets rise up against institutionalized racism. We all know that marijuana is used by lots of people of many different races and cultures. However in GA alone 58% of all marijuana arrests are minorities. Surveys in the GA University system done by public health students at GSU, Clark, and Morehouse show that a greater percentage of white college students use this drug.
7:14 A judge would say some dumb shit. Communities ought to make their own laws. Then your geeked ass obeys. Kids should be smoking??? Let'm smoke when they turn 21.... This idiot is essentially saying that alcohol should stay legal though it kills waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more people than........
Supreme Court Justice Robert Benham completely contradicted himself. He stated that the standard of conduct ought to be set in our homes, but yet he feels that marijuana should be illegal. What he does not understand is that the fact that it is illegal takes away our right to determine our own standard of conduct in our homes.
That being said every individual person has the right to decide what they want to put in their own bodies. Period.
When the question is broached, it's meant with laughter. African Americans realizes that they must continue going to jail for their own good and for the good of the Black community. Prison is the only thing that will stop Blacks from abusing marijuana. No one realizes how important prison employment is to Blacks. What do you propose tens of thousands of Blacks will do for a honest living?
ur an idioit Theprofasho, if they make weed legal it be still considered a drug ( like alcohol ) so u wouldn't be able to smoke up whenever, Can u drink at work? NO i dont think so. So if they make it legal there so be like terms. When you can smoke up or something or how much can u smoke , they got the new laws, about smokin up and driving. they can detect the amount.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
i smoke but i DONT think it should be legalized. all you ppl who think it should be legalized need to think more about why its illegal other than just saying its not bad for you. when i get high and go to a fast food place, i cant even count the change to buy my food, i have the cashier do it for me. what about engineers, programmers, and all those jobs; businusses cant run when ppl smoke and dont know what they doin. also, you should smoke privately, in home. so u shouldnt get caught anyway bye
Marijuana effects everyone differently, I have never needed a cashier to count my money for me, no matter how stoned I was; i mean are you serious? Marijuana needs to be decriminalized so that true modern research can be performed. Saying it will stifle business is just ridiculous, and asinine. Alcohol is legal. The shit needs to be decriminalized because so many resources are being wasted trying to eliminate it. Its another social control, I mean listen to the truth.
All made sense, except Robert Benham. He stated he believed it should remain illegal but gives a reason that is the opposite of his opinion.
"The problem is the standard of conduct in our community now is being determined by the courthouse, but the standard of our community ought to be set in our homes, in our communities, churches."
By stating this he says that we should decide this within our families, churches, community, not the court houses, thus the court houses should continue to decide
If it was legal I would get high before church and then the bible would definately sound more interesting. I used to read it stoned and I couldnt put the book down for a while.
All the speakers I thought were dead on except of course the last one who it appeared is a supreme court justice. His statements to me sound as if he is the dictator of his home & apparently wants to be the dictator of your home as well.
That last speaker was trying to be to politically correct...He must plan to run for something...answer had nothing to do with the question...Who the hell asked him about the rules of his house or how he thinks people should be raising there kids...your either for freedom or against it...
If you want to get the drugs out of the hands of the kids you HAVE to legalize it...kids chase things that are forbidden...you can get high on glue but nobodies killing in the streets over the shit because its legal and its in the store...who would buy something from a kid thats available in the store...we need to stop focusing on the safety of the addict and focus on the safety of the kids and the innocent bystanders that get killed just being in the wrong place at the wrong time...
we're going to legalize weed as long as money can be made? has anybody seen the effects of crack cocaine in the black community in the 80s and to this day?
this is the exact same hype that came about with cigarettes. it was suddenly the "cool" thing to do and look at how many ppl it kills a year, so now we're going to legalize weed? are you kidding? there is no proof whatsoever that weed helps medicinally and there are already drugs that reduce pain and we have chemotherapy for cancer. ppl who want to legalize it are a bunch of wannabe bob marley muthafuckers who act like they're stoners but haven't smoked a blunt in their life.
okay first the diffrence between cihgarettes and weed is NO ONE has EVER died from marijuana use alone but cihgarets kill millions of people a year all over the world and same goes with perscription pain killers thousands of people die from them ,same goes with alcohol and yet all of its perfectly legal and secondly people that want weed to be legal arent "wannabe bob marley muthafuckers" theyre people that are tired of prohibition and the devastating effects its had on millions of peoples lives
What's wrong with lining the pockets of the DEA. They use this money for the tools of their trade. Do you have a problem with that. I thought so! Get a life, a job and wuit altering your brain housing group. Semper Fi !
so we can keep tearing down trees for paper, so we can suck the oil dry and keep poluting the planet, so we can destroy citizens lives by taking homes and cars and losing jobs and spouses, so kids can have records and lose collage money,
so we can keep breaking down doors, killing animals and taking kids away from parents, so we can keep lining the pockets of the DEA, police and Drug Czar's office, so we can keep pushing alcohol and tobacco on everyone and will kill them, so we can keep taking synthetic pills that have horrible side effects, so we can arrest sick and dying citizens, so our kids can keep buying pot from the street corner, so we can keep funding these cartels and let them buy guns and kill us,
so we can keep losing money funding the drug war and not taxing it in these hard economic times and so we can just keep doing the wrong thing for another 70+ years VS. doing the smart thing and END PROHIBITION forever!

This country was founded on the principle that it is teh DUTY of teh majority to protect the rights of the minority. Under the current system there is no such choice to be made. Pot is not a dangerous plant, until you have to deal with the law.

Why does anyone laugh at this question? This is the most important question that need to be answered and done something about. Why is the Federal government worried about a plant so much? I think the DEA ia a criminal organization.
