Canadian radio stations are required to play a predetermined quantity of songs by these artists who are 2nd to none. Unfortunately I no longer live close enough to Canada to access their radio stations. I dearly miss the variety of songs offered as a result of the inclusion of many Canadian singers and groups.

Tara Maclean is amazing on the First Noel Christmas lullaby CD. I first bought it last Christmas and I played it until after New Years. The same this year and it just sootes my son sound to sleep...and me too! I love the CD, I love your voice Tara, absolutely breathless-thank you.

I can confirm that this was named after a sister who passed away. I saw them at a show in Winnipeg's West End Cultural Center a few years back, while they were making their way west to perform at the Juno's. Since the place only sat about 100 people it was a great up-close experience. Not to mention I was in the front row. I only wish they would come back and play again.

Also have to say that Daydream Car is my favorite song. At 2:23 into the song Damhnait belts out was is essentially a long yell. In concert she had to stand about 15 feet back from the mic to avoid overpowering everything else. Made the hair on my back stand up, as it still does today.
