Ah this brings back memories!! I remember taping this Late Late Show Special on Sharon Shannon on an old VHS tape - and nearly wearing it out watching this performance over and over! Sharon and Mike were amazing and you can see they are enjoying themselves. Love the way they ceile it up around 2.30. Shout out to the Doolin crew in the audience that night!

1) I believe there are better versions of this song and better examples of the artists' music out there, and so I am recommending other viewers and fans to check them out.

In enquiring about your question, it is a song off the Room To Roam album, the name escapes me, but what a good time that tune wallops. Incidentally, Room to Roam is soon to be re-released with an additional set of songs recorded during the making of that album, but never before released. Mike Scott is cool that way too, he's re-released most of his other albums in the same manner. Cheers.
