All these fantastic maps... ruined by the Reach Engine. 3 Shot Magnum? MY ARSE. It takes roughly 5 trigger pulls to actually hit because of the stupid reticle bloom. I thought the whole point in the beta playlist was to eliminate the bloom for headshot weapons then implement this into the Anniversary gametypes. The pistol made CE multiplayer on these maps fun. Everything else is fine, but they ruined the most iconic weapon. Bullshit when you see someone in matchmaking spam the pistol. UUGh

@sepultura7771 Jetpack gets first shot on enemies caught in the open and has the advantage of not being in the plane of vision you're already using to look around. If you are playing against someone who can actually aim and there a building right next to you, you will die to the jetpacker.

Also strafing in default Reach is useless.

It's like they made the game's map and then through Jetpack in afterward hoping it would all work itself out. It doesn't though. Saying "It's not that bad" is ignoring a serious problem that is ruining multiplayer maps.

@TehFlusk It ruins these maps. None of the default or Forged by the Community maps take Jetpack into account in the designs. Any cover you have on most maps are for blocking enemies that are on the same level or lower than you. Using Jetoack to get above annihilates any safety the default cover gives.

Combine this with a starting weapon with an infinite range and hitscan along with the fact that on most maps the jetpacker will start shooting you first form the other side of the map and Jetpack

@TehFlusk Gains a ridiculous advantage over all other abilities. The only type of cover the game has that stops Jetpack are buildings and those don't let you engage anyone in combat. So your choices are to avoid Jetpack and every other enemy on the map or go outside to be at a disadvantage to Jetpack. If you then choose Jetpack yourself you get to use the ridiculous advantage as your own and destroy the other players.

Saying its balanced because every1 has access to it is a ridiculous argument.

@TehFlusk If there was a loadout which let you instantly kill all enemy players on the map and win the game and it was in a loadout every one could choose it wouldn't be "balanced" just because everyone can choose it. It's still ridiculously overpowered.

If you can't see where I'm coming form with this wall of replies, then I honestly am saddened that such an ignorant fanbase has been adopted by the Halo series and I look forward to avoiding the future shittier sequels to this dead franchise.
