i too think jess was best sure he had problems but he was (correct me if i'm wrong) kinda like rory smart and understanding at least to her they never slept together he got angry when she dropped out of yale for part of a season because he knew that wasnt who she was and rory had a few problems in her life too but like jess she found her way back to being normal
