The Bible demands death to a bunch of different people, encourages sexism, encourages slavery, and encourages rape. It says that if a virgin is raped, she must marry her rapist. Does that really sit well with anyone?

read your bible... it seems like the christian god loves mass murder, rape, anti semiticism... my reason for being an atheist is because there is no evidence for gods and the supernatural in this natural world.. at all, there is no celestial dictation.. it's all mythology, it's like people are just too brainwashed to see it.. i'm glad i grew up in australia - where religion is kind of a non issue.

Theism: The belief that you can do anyhting ... to anyone ... for any reason ... because you can be forgiven for it. But you don't have to seek the forgiveness of the one's you wronged, just the voices in your own head.
