How long did it take you to get your fingerpicking down to a point that you didn't have to think about it? I've been playing for 7 months and my chord transitions are perfect, including barre chords, but I can only travis pick. Would love to get into something this detailed...but wonder if I'm out of my depth. :)

Oh wow, I found this while looking for a completely different arrangement of the song, but I love this! The guitar part is absolutely beautiful, so rich and full. From what little I know about playing guitar, that fingering would be extremely difficult, and the fact that you arranged it yourself is even more awesome.

I like very much traditional and celtic tunes for fingerstyle guitar, and in this last time I play only this kind of music. Really McIlroy guitars sound awesome!... and in this video my strings are very old, too old!... the sound is not so brilliant... however the extra for left-handed model in june 2006 was of € 115.
