how do enter shikari keep their synths in time with the rest of the band?

They're all really good at adjusting their tempo and matching the synth if it comes in off time so it's barely noticable too.

as well as that i can usually be controlled behind the scenes by the sound tech etc.

the ear monitors might have tempos in them, and you can tap a tempo into the EMX, so if the band is slower or faster, you can adjust.
