Are all social workers the same? I don't reckon they are. Some people can and do the job right and some can't be bothered to do the job right. Surely it is stereotyping a social worker as well a civilian that has never been in prison.
I Would have told Myra, that doesn't make someone patronising if they haven't met a prisoner/ex-prisoner, nor if they haven't been in prison.
It just makes people like us more fortunate to never end up in prison, nor be stupid or naive to commit a crime. :o)
