Do you guys just launch right from the house....out your back door? It looks amazing, like you have the whole ocean to yourself.....looks cold in april though!
@turtle2134 You'll notice short sleeves and shorts... but, when the wind comes out of the North, it cools down fast. Usually by the 3rd week of April the SW winds arrive and things get much warmer. It's the beauty of Hatteras, you just never know what you'll get. And yes, the launch is right from the house. Everything is kept rigged and stored (locked) under the homes. (an amazing spot)
Great video! I think you pretty much captured the annual Avon trek and all it's elements.
