I like the original 'Year 1994, One Late Night' waaay too much to watch a cover of it in an unbiased manner. But this one was pretty good.......the emotion was nothing compared to the original, but their vocals were very solid and nice.

With IU singing and suiting the softer bits, mostly in the beginning, and Tomtom suited the louder parts, around the peak of the song. They blended well in the chorus too. But, I'm not familiar with the original, so I guess the original had a voice type similar to Tomtom?

아이유가 노래를 못하는 것은 아니다. 요즘 말하는 '가창력'이란 점에서. 가창력만 놓고 보자면 '탐탐'인지 뭔지 하는 가수가 아이유 보다 월등히 낫다고 할수도 없다. 그러나 탐탐이의 소리가 아이유 보다 '월등히'낫게 들리는 이유는 탐탐이는 감정표현에서 뛰어나고 그걸 자기 스타일로 부른다는 것이다. 개성만 보자면, 아이유의 창법은 장혜진을 카피했다고 볼 정도로 똑같다. 숨쉬는 곳 하나 하나 까지. 가창력.. 극단적으로 보자. 요즘 감동을 선사한 윤형주가 아이유 보다 가창력이 뛰어 나다고 할수 있을까. 문제는 표현력과 개성. 한마디 더 하자만, 눈감고 들었을때 아이유와 태연이는 구분이 거의 안된다..
