I hope that Charlie Kaufman never stops making movies. I always feel by the way that Kaufman talks that he feels people don't understand his films. He is a true individual and his films are very thought provoking. Most people don't like his films since there is a real anti-intellectualism in this day and age. That's not to say that most people are stupid but most people are not interested in thinking and prefer instant gratification.

this also seems like one of the scenes from the movie waking life, i've never heard kauffman talk before , but he's a very deep and has a very interesting and intelligent understanding of things, and it is so orginal and unique, just like his films

hi! absolutely right...i dont give a shit if milk won the oscar, enough of the bullshit with "heroic" real life important people,i get it & understand the importance but its boring,been there..seen that before,it isnt original anymore..synecdoche ny is such a piece of film..you dont even need to be a genius to watch it....just as fellini's 8 1/2...its funny, sad, beautiful, surreal, thoughtful, profound, plus great acting, direction & cinematography...gonna buy it on blu-ray! cheers!
