  • holy sh!t :)) lol you and your wife did awesome :)

  • wow what a transformation ! well done mate ! :)

  • Hey I was wondering... is it better to do ab ripper x before or after the main workout?

    Thanks!

  • @shf6136 I like to do it after, but you can do it before, just as long as you still warm up and stretch.

  • Awesome results. What kind of shape were you in before P90x? It looks like you had some solid muscle, and that P90x just made you very defined.

Did you get stronger while doing it? Did you do anything else besides the P90x plan like extra weights, jumproping, etc? Thanks and sorry for all the questions.

  • @duckpwnd I was pretty out of shape. Yes, I did get stronger throughout the program, and no, I didn't do anything extra during my first round.

Make sure you check out my site iwanttogetripped*com for some great tips to help you through the program.

  • Which did you use, dumbbells or bands?

  • @barneyfitch I started out using some bands, but then immediately moved to dumbbells. Now I have the Powerblocks, which is one of the best investments I've made. You can check out my Powerblocks review on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • great results

  • 9 people gave up p90x and went with mcdonald90x

  • @utubeazn123 LOL

  • You look so happy. congrats man

  • dude im on day thirty and i dont look like that lol, nop way

  • This is my 13 year old awesome p90x transformation.

  • how much weighed when u begin ? how much weigh you after 125 days? and what do u eat man ;>?

  • @PeazWalkaz I started at 177 lbs and dropped down to 154 lbs. I followed the P90X Nutrition Guide. You can learn more about what I did to follow the program at iwanttogetripped*com.

  • @CoachJoshS Thx. I weigh 170lbs ; ) so i must dropp someone lbsssssss ehhh ... hard work thx man

  • How much can you bench now coach? :D

  • @ultfiend217 I don't do barbell bench, but still do dumbbell, and last time I benched I was doing sets of 10 of 85 lbs dumbbells.

  • this is possible?

  • @PeazWalkaz Yes, it is.

  • Did you increase your calorie intake considerably? What about carbs?

  • @Kb2783 When I was focused on gaining mass, then yes. During my first round I stuck at right around 1,800 cals. Learn more about how I followed the diet on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • @CoachJoshS so for your first 90 days you stayed at 1800 calories??? were you in fat shredder mode the whole time????

  • @xBushidoBrown Yeah, I stayed right around 1.800 for the entire first round.

  • Hey Josh, I was doing p90x for at least two weeks, and although I saw some incredible results in that two week span, I lost interest. I'm worried that If I continue with p90x i'll lose interest again...What do you do to keep yourself motivated to go up to 90 days and even beyond that?

    Thanks!

  • @Exlax123 There's actually a post on my site iwanttogetripped*com called "How to Self Motivate to Work Out" that you should check out.

  • congrats, hope I can get the same results!

  • @Swefin Thanks! Just commit yourself and you can!

  • @CoachJoshS Hey if I'm a little overweight, can I go straight for muscle mass, hoping the fat will just burn and the muscle will build? or will I have to go lean first then mass?

  • @Exlax123 Focus on losing the fat first and then on gaining mass. Make sure you check out my site iwanttogetripped*com for great tips to help you through the program. Also, you can make me your coach on there as well, and I'll be here to help you through the program.

  • Very motivational man...I cannot wait to see my 90 day transformation

  • what's your diet?

  • @sphiney You can find out how I followed the diet on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • Dayum

  • HOLY F*CKNG SH*T... that is an extreme transformation. no effin way.

on some non gay shit you look good. maaaajor results

  • @eduardo73190 Hahaha thanks bro

  • So you're part of Beach Body coaching staff and doing (MLM's)

  • Hi :) so i was wondering if it would be like almost impossible for a 16 year old vegetarian girl to do it. im pretty weak i cant do real push ups i can really only do girl push ups (on your knees) i know its insane and really hard for people who have ten times more muscles than i do but i just want to get real fit so do you think i would basically kill myself trying? pretty please respond back. :) thankyou

    -Zoe

  • @Zoeeisbeastly I think you can do it!

  • @Zoeeisbeastly Hey :D Well... i thought i may as well answer from MY point of view, It is said that anyone can do it. Im a 16 Year old Guy and i have quite a bit of muscle already, but i dont see why you can't do it! :) The excercises are very important, but the main thing is your diet.

  • @Zoeeisbeastly you can do it got to put your mind to it and to build up muscle mass put a lil bit of protein into your diet. being a vegitarian is good an all but you are robbing your body of essential minerals and vitamins. if yo dont want to eat meat try eating eggs they are awesome in protein or get protein shakes. those ar a great source of protein and to build stron muscle and bones your ging to need calcium you can ge that from milk or a powder or a pill (if im not mistaken).

    -Zoe

  • @Zoeeisbeastly Think about starting with Power 90, the program before P90X. Head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com and check it out.

  • i have a question, in the ab ripper x do i need to do all the 11 workouts in one day or just pick what workout you want for that day? cuz me i made workout sched like 6 workouts in 1 day

  • @Diazthewingman I'm not sure what you mean bro. Do you mean all the exercises in ab ripper x? If so, yes, you're supposed to complete the entire workout.

  • @CoachJoshS no i mean do i have to do all the workouts in just 1 day?

  • @Diazthewingman No, you follow the workouts according to the Fitness Guide that came with the program.

  • WOW! The blogspot and everything. Good Job! Excellent transformation

  • @richnice35 Thanks!

  • Which did you do? Lean, Classic, or what? And what diet plan did you use? The one in the package?

  • @csidener54 I followed the Classic version for the first 2 months and then switched to Doubles for the last month of my first round. I stuck with the P90X Nutrition Guide. You can find more information on how I followed the program on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • what size dumbbells did you use?

  • Hey im 14 almost 15 and i'm thinking about starting P90X. I've already been going to weights after school for about 6 months but i dont think its enough. I have a good deal of muscle (for a 14 year old) but im still a little on the skinny side. Do you think its a good idea to do P90X on top of weights after school? The ones at school are only from about 3:10-3:50 so not very long and its only 3 days a week. One of my really good friends started a couple of days ago and i want to start with him.

  • @grim3621 Doing P90X on top of that might be a little too much. Your metabolism is fast to begin with being so young, so you will have a tough time putting on some muscle because of burning so many calories. If you are going to do so, you will have to increase how much you eat.

  • Hey Josh, any incite as to why I can't subscribe to your videos?

  • @the02prowler I actually have no idea.

  • very nice i completed p90x and lost 15 kg got a lil more to go but thats ok. inspiring stuff dude =)

  • hey man good for you...i seen you gained confidence in yourself also with all the smiling and all thats great. i have a question though, im 16 yrs old i have 12% body fat im starting to run about 1/4 mile everyday just to get started....do u think i might have results and look good for the summer with p90x..trust me i go all out with all my workouts...!!! Thanks

  • dude that mustiv been some hard work on p90x, thats hardcore bro.

  • @67chevy7 Thanks bro!

  • hey josh, how many grams of carbs did u eat for the fat shredder phase? please reply!

  • @metalanimeking Follow the Nutrition Guide.

  • I'm 16 and I want to start p90x. Do you think I'll get ripped and have abs by summer time? I'm slim now. I play hockey and have some muscle. But have little definition.

  • @wingzfan08 If you can dedicate yourself to the program, then yes.

  • I was wondering, im about to start this P90X, Do you need to stick to their diet ?? Because i have my own diet at the moment and iv been losing weight with it, i was just wondering if i am able to stick to mine and do their workout?

  • @KracBlayn The diet is the most important part of the program.

  • josh did you follow the diet 100% or did you cheat every once in awhile?

  • @bmoney1492 I followed it 100%.

  • TNT!

  • did you use the shakeology stuff cause i dont really got the money for that 132.00 for a shake mix when i can buy protein shakes or whey at gnc for half the price

  • @ladiezman247 I've been using Shakeology every day for 11 months straight and I absolutely love it. It's not a protein shake, so you can't compare it to one. Learn more about it at besthealthymeal*com.

  • i actualy think the abs look best second to last photo..

  • Congratulations man!

you look effing great, I would kill for a body like that, so it actually works?

  • @Erikhaos Yeah bro it works! See some other transformations on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • @CoachJoshS awesome I'll check it out ;) thanks

  • @CoachJoshS Hey dude and what about the diet? what does it consists in?

  • @Erikhaos Just check out the Nutrition guide bro.

  • @CoachJoshS yeah but where can I read some stuff?

  • @Erikhaos iwanttogetripped*com

  • So which did you do, classic, doubles or cardio? Plus... Im on day 30, my progress is nooo where near what yours is. Plus I kinda of me my own hybrid version I do. Instead of the plyo and yoga I do the weight ones on those days.... is that good or bad?

  • @noahy1 I followed the Classic version for the first two months and then switched to Doubles for the last month of my first round. Also, you're going to want to follow the program how it's set up. Make sure you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com for some great tips to help you out.

  • quick question. im thinkin about starting p90x in a few days maybe today. how long was it before u first saw results?

  • @kbaseball54 I saw results in the first few weeks. Make sure you head over to my site iwanttogetripped*com for some great tips to help you get started.

  • im starting my program on monday.n i wanted to know if there is anyone in the LA area that can answer some questions for me or just help me with the program? message me n ill give u my phone number

  • @srt4006 I can answer any questions that you have. You can make me your coach through my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • CoachJoshS, how long are the workouts? Obviously p90x can work very well, but I dont have to time to do long workouts everyday. I heard the workouts were over an hour each, and while I have the determination to do them, I'm simply too busy.

  • @jack297 There are about an hour long.

  • bro awesome results, i'm gonna start in two days, but i'm wondering, did you use the diet that comes with the program? or did you just eat healthy

  • @kennesaw3515614 I followed the diet that comes with the program. You can actually find a ton of excellent diet tips on my site iwanttogetripped*com.

  • your results are ridiculous, especially after the first 60 days. my results up to 60 days are not even remotely close, its a joke. i swear some people are just genetically gifted. well that, and the fact that it seems to be the best results are coming from people who arent really in that bad of shape to begin with.

  • @idesofmars It takes complete commitment to both the diet and the workouts, along with some patience to get great results.

  • @CoachJoshS hey thanks for the reply! yah, im not sure...ive been doing the 6 days a week the whole time and besides one cheat meal a week, my nutrition to my knowledge has been pretty spot on. there must be something im not doing right.

  • @idesofmars Are you taking all the suppliments. And as you said he was in pretty good shape to start off with. Stick to it and you will see the same results too, it just takes patience

  • You look great.I get my p900 in three days, so excited.

  • @juicycouture233 Thanks! Make sure you check out the "Q&A" section of my site iwanttogetripped*com for some great tips to help you get started.

  • How in the world did you change SO MUCH in just the 1st 40 days? where you using classic with Cardio workout combine?

  • @aqwqhater You have to remember that I went from eating nothing but junk food all day to a completely strict diet. Plus, I didn't skip a workout. My body just responded very quickly.

  • @aqwqhater some people don't get the results they desire because they cheat, what they don't know is they're only cheating themselves...Nice job for the post you look great!!!! I am the same, when i work out hard, i get results fairly quickly....it's all about how bad u want it....and what your willing to give up for the body you desire. This guy probably cut out all sugar, sodas, alcohol.....when u make big changes you see big results!!

  • in the ratings - 8 retards dont LIKE the vid!!!! wierdos...must be fat people

  • One of the best transformation videos i have seen so far, keep up the good work man.

  • @Medullaboi Thanks bro!

  • NO BULLSH*T???? DUDE AMAZING... I weigh like 180 pounds at age of 17 i'm not really tall but i'm not short, i'm average length for a 17 year old. Anyway I wanna start doing this =P but I just want to know, if I DON'T take the required amount of protein, does that mean that the process will go a LOT slower? Please I need to know because I don't want to start out on something, then eventually fail =(.

  • @darkar12 It's going to be important that you follow the program how it's designed, by committing yourself to both the diet and workouts. You can find a ton of excellent workout and diet tips in the "Q&A" section of my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com.

  • wow bro thats amazing..im gettin ready to start up p90x on the 1st of july..but would you please give me some tips!! im 17 years old and im about 150 lbs...and im 5 foot and 6 inches tall..im kinda built already but i just need to get cut..do i need to do the diet that p90x gives you or can i do my own? let me know please and thank you!

  • @pookerostrom25 You can find a ton of excellent workout and diet tips in the "Q&A" section of my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com. Also, you need to follow the guidelines of the Nutrition Guide.

  • I have a question if you would double up on the exersize designated for that day would you plataue (spelling?) faster? I know they have the stretches and yoga to prevent that but would doubling up work faster or just set me back?

  • @goFlyers66 You don't want to do the same workout twice in a day. You have to give each muscle group 48 hours rest before working again.

  • Great Job!! im only on day 3 but im gonna stick with it and then im probably gonna do insanity or doubles for P90X

  • @chewiebrothaman Awesome man! Make sure you check out my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com for excellent workout and diet tips to help you get started.

  • Hey man... nice results. I want to know if you can give me an advice about the food. I live in a very small town, so is kind of difficult for me to follow the nutrition plan. I want to lose some belly weight, but after that I want to gain some muscle mass. What would you recommend me to eat for the 3 first weeks to lose belly fat? After that I know that I have to drink some protein additional to the food and some creatine. Thank you. Look forward to hear from you.

  • @temporalron You can find out what adjustments I made to the diet to make it easier to follow in the "Q&A" section of my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com.

  • Wow Josh you did a great job man! Talk about a complete 180 turn around! Just wanted to let you know that your hard work is a real inspiration for me since I have P90X coming to me on Monday and I really wasnt sure if it worked as well as they claim but from your results it looks like hard work and dedication to the program does the trick! Congrats and thank you!

  • Comment removed

  • @redbirds51 Awesome man! Make sure you commit yourself to both the diet and the workouts if you want excellent results. Also, be sure to check out my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com for excellent tips to help you get started!

  • No bro I'm not on creatine but I realized my muscles were shrinking just cuz I wasn't eating right but now that I am, I am gaining mass rapidly again, and I wish I could use creatine but they told me at GNC that it's not good for me cuz I'm 17 years old, what do you think about that bro???

  • @Alexstar1250 Haha well there are different opinions bro. You might want to check with your doc to see what he says about creatine.

  • Man how did you get ab results that fast?

  • @89Kele I committed myself 100% to both the diet and the workouts.

  • Looking good bro! Were there any diets involved?

  • @Roger0416 Thanks bro! Yeah, I actually followed the Nutrition Guide that came with the program.

  • k dude, i gotta a question, ive been excersising alot for a while now, maybe like 2 months, and i still dont look really any different, lol. i catn lose the fat over my muscles and runnig doesnt seem to help, ive been eating properly and everything, do you maybe have an idea about what the problem might be?

  • @mctofee Are you following P90X? There could be a number of issues, but first I need to know what kind of workouts you're doing.

  • @CoachJoshS i was for 60 days but there wasnt any big changes, i felt stronger but it wasnt showing :( lol

  • @mctofee Probably because you weren't following the diet exactly. The diet is the most important part of the program. Find great diet tips in the "Q&A" section of my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com.

  • I ask this with no disrespect intended. Are you doing this clean, or using any legal or non legal supplements

  • @markneubauer16 I've only used supplements to help with my transformation, and you can find out what those supplements are in the "Q&A" section of my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com.

  • @markneubauer16

Illegal substances and supplements are two different things.

  • did you ever have to take a day off or a couple?>

like did you get sick or anything

how many pull ups did you do when you started

and did you ever have any cracking in your elbows when you were doing pushups

lastly, di dyou use the bands for the shoulder and bicep workouts or did you do free weights???!?!?!?

  • @christiandoy Yeah, there have been a few days that I've had to take off from being sick or something else coming up. Also, I could do 4 wide grip pull-ups when I started, and no, I've never had my elbows crack with push-ups. I used dumbbells through the entire program.

  • Greeting Josh,

My question is can a guy who has never been athletic is 5'11'' 275 lbs of flab do p90x and get results? I really want to get ripped for the first time ever in my life and I am tired of being the fat funny guy lol I want to be the ripped funny guy instead....

  • @Willowblades Just sent you a message man.

  • perfect

  • No bro that's not wat I mean, wat I mean is that I get big for a few days and then my muscles just shrink again, I was thinking and maybe I'm not eating enough protein, you think that can be the reason???

  • @Alexstar1250 To be honest with you, I've never heard of that. It sounds to me like you really have a lot of water retention. Are you taking creatine?

  • Bro for some reason my muscles grow incredibly fast and good but then they rapidly get back to small again in a few days, any idea why that happens???

  • @Alexstar1250 Do you mean they get larger when you work out? If so, that's common because you have the blood rushing to the muscles that you're working.

  • Thanks for the info bro,I tried to sign up to the beachbody website to try and register so u can be my personal coach but for some reason the city and zip code says is invalid which is weird becus I typed it correctly every single time,Today I did my first workout hard work but im going

  • @capoldslds Yeah, that is odd. Try again today and let me know if it still doesn't work.

  • Man u had great shape from the get go no lie,i have abs to but the lack of exercise and few pounds u can barely see them,i will be starting my p90 today so i can only imagine ill have a similar body to urs if i dedicate myself which I will

  • @capoldslds With hard work and dedication to the diet and workouts, you will see results! Make sure you check out my site iwanttogetripped(dot)com for excellent workout and diet tips.
