  • I think you would make a great husband. some of what you said was funny. anyway. Do you know where they sell paniyaaram grill?

  • Thanks!!

  • Great! . Do you know how to make sweet ones with bananas?

  • Sure. One of the ways they do it is with half measure bananas and half measure wheat flour with scrapings of carrot and coconut with a hint of cardamom powder.

  • HI,Where did u buy the utensil for making paniyaram. is it available to buy in any store in uk..Btw is there any seasoning required for the batter.. tell me the recipe for kadalachutney as well...

  • I got it from India when I came. But I remember seeing it in an Indian store in Toronto. So I think you might get it in London or something (especially the nonstick ones).

Seasoning is purely optional. Some add finely chopped onion and cilantro with coarsely ground cumin seeds. But you can be creative. Try whatever you like.

Kadala Chutney - grind 1cup roasted, shelled groundnuts, 2-3 dry chillies, a teaspoon tamaring paste and salt. You can later add sauteed curry leaves with mustard seeds.

  • Thanks a lot !

  • You're Welcome.
