I can play virtually all Oasis and Beatles songs (Rythmn, Lead and Bass) and there isnt any particular similarities other then the fact they both sound good and melodic.

That's a fair argument but you never know. C & A may have affected him differently or he's consumed considerably more C & A & D (drugs) than Noel and Paul OR for this matter, he probably had one too many colds or nosebleeds which I learned in voice class, before I earned my undergrad. degree in Music back in college, can actually have an affect on your vocal chords. Now, I firmly believe Bono's (U2) voice has been diminished by cigarettes alone, and not so much the alcohol, I would think.

APPARENTLY, this was the first time Liam did the "sunsheeeiiine" when singing this song, and was embarrassed at first until Alan McGee rang him and told him it sounded great and to keep doing it. (according to Noel on the Definitely Maybe DVD)

too many fags. too much trying to growl out every note like he was John Lydon. Listen to Roll With It or Rocking Chair... he really hit his vocal peak in '95. Since then hes lost all teh dynamics in his voice :S its just one long hoarse growl and he cant hit the same notes anymore even

Noels voice isnt like that because he isnt constantly striving for a Lydon/Lennon mix. Its a shame cause naturally Liams voice was powerfull enough and its looses timbre on songs such as Let there be Love (which i think he actually sounds pretty good - better than Songbird or whatever) Slide away is a good example of him singing beautifull and powerfull at the same time.
