@dreamskillme One can like modern dance without liking this particular piece. Come on. What they are trying to do here was done so much better in Graham's Acts of Light.
@Sierpinski1 I understand that people can like modern dance without liking them all but questioning the choreography kind of completely goes against what modern stands for. It is what it is by the artist that creates it. It's different and new and not everyone will like it. I personally think it is a wonderful piece. But if I didn't I wouldn't be questioning it.
@dreamskillme One should be allowed to say critical things about a work of art. On the other hand, I can also say more positive things as well. I already noted that I liked the final moments of the piece. I also appreciate the fact that it is a duet featuring two men.
The music is so immense sad and beautiful at he same time... it tells me the story of these two so masterly dancing men, sometimes expressing love, sometimes expressing in a kind of a wrestle the search for liberation, freedom.... finding it in the surrender to Harmonious calm flows in movements, growing into One in Beauty.
The dancers are fine, but isn't the choreography too busy for that music? They don't really seem to fit together until the very end.

@Sierpinski1 Then why in the world are you questioning the choreography if you are familiar with it? o.0
