This is one of the first Elvis songs I heard when I was in my early teens. It broke my heart, even though back then I knew practically no English. His voice expressed the whole sense of the lyrics. So genuinely emotional!

i like dustys version too,but Elvis' version strikes me two ways;first its set up to be performed onstage (it has a concert feel to it , like The Wonder Of You ),but then it has that early 70s orchestration that makes it almost eerie to listen to
