  • Ive been a vegan for over 9 years now and run marathons. I rode 70km today, 100km yesterday and 210km the day before that. I giggle when non athletes say 'oh but I dont get enough protein as a vegan..'

Noah Hannibal has been a vegan for 17 years and just won the Australian Bench Press comp in the heavyweight devision. Google him up.

Check out on youtube 'vegan blood tests'.

  • @durianriders Congratulations! Well done YOU! And Mr. Hannibal. I love telling my family examples like these at the dinner table (while they're complaining that mom's a vegan). lol

  • I went vegan over twenty years ago, for ethical reasons not for health reasons. I continued eating fried foods to the max and soy ice cream etc for most of that time. I am 45 now and beginning to feel my age, so I am eating healthier now, still vegan of course, have cut back my alcohol and gave up smoking earlier this year.

  • the last video i've seen on youtube was about german soldiers in afghanistan who secure opium fields for the us to destabilize russia with heroin exports... :-( i wish the people on the top were raw foodist... our little planet would become heaven on earth instead a made up hell :-( sorry for the bad comment!!!

  • I totally agree with Mr. Robbins belief that the movement has hurt itself by being intolerant. Better to encourage the vegetarian, pescatarian, and those who are just cutting down. It's the total of all efforts of many that will achieve a greater result than perfect behavior from a small group.

  • NO, the WHOLE world CANNOT be vegan because billions are starving and will DIE if forced to eat a vegan only diet.

  • @youlance29 I cannot make any sense out of that if my life depended on it. Billions are starving because crops & grains are being used to feed animals raised for meat. Even our water sources have 3 times as much waste in them because of factory farms!!! Our Air is filled with methane for the same reasons!

On one hand you have obese animal eaters, & on the other malnourished people without a morsel of food. Pick any out of those few reasons to die, being vegan is not one of them.

  • He really captures why I'm more drawn to a raw diet a vegan diet. You can be 50% raw and still hang out with someone who's 90% or more and still learn from eachother. Vegans in my town (I'm sure there are many exceptions) are a bit more all or nothing. You're either in or out, if that makes sense, and for me at least that creates more stress than a will to learn.

  • Wow; I really like this guy :)

  • Looks like you're setting up to shoot a music video. A cover of "Umbrella" maybe?

I love how John talked about relationships and how processed the food is in America. I'm not too excited to not hear about the non plant strong diets of healthy civilizations, which very much do exist. Just makes me crazy to see people use good information, but not give the other side so the listener can make an educated judgment. One plant strong diet for everyone? My own personal experience says no.

  • Even John said the cultures he studied didn't eat the processed junk, soda and fast-food most Americans live on, and that they had a completely different lifestyle; connection to each other and nature. Simply saying a plant strong diet is the key is ignoring all the other variables which may be the most important difference in being healthy.

I was vegan for 30 yrs and did well..until I didn't. Now I eat organic/grass fed beef, turkey, tempeh and lots of fresh vegs. Never felt better in my life

  • @bklynsam hi Mr. have you ever heard someone go from grass fed,raw milk, organ meats to vegan an feel better?because i always ear people go from crap diet to vegan and feel better wich i think is just normal stop eating crap and nomather what you replacing it with you will feel better for a while,i hope my quetion is clear im french Canadian ! have a good 1

  • @mike1981ification - sure I have, and their experience is as valid as mine. There is no one way for each individual or the planet. It's an individual decision based on a lot of factors. For me, so far this has worked pretty well for 12 years. If my body starts telling me differently, I will change what needs changing. Oh, and your question was quite clear. Wish I could converse as well in French :)

  • @mike1981ification, I think I understand you and if I do, I agree. Most people who go vegan for good health are really going from pizza, friend foods, cheeseburgers, soft drinks, french fries (you bad French!) and things like that to healthier alternatives. Of course they are going to look better, feel better and have less health problems! It has nothing to do with eating meat or not eating meat.

  • @mike1981ification could be dairy allergies, too

  • @bklynsam I agree that a strong community and connection to the earth is just as important if not more important than the food. But on the other hand, you simply can't have one without the other.

It is impossible to have all that if you eat junk food. It really is. The food truly impacts our thoughts and our life styles. As soon as you start eating a clean diet you will begin to feel connected to the earth and to other beings.

  • A carrot interview? I loved that episode about the life of a carrot!

  • I guess the infrastructure and time to raise a pound of meet is tremendous, can grow food too feed many people with all that energy.

  • Its not the grains or not, the meat or not its about eliminating processed products and refined sugar of the diet, you can have good health on high saturated fat or on a plant base diet you can find healthy tribes with very different macronutriment ratio all over the world! to me its to easy to say that, ho those tribes are healty and are eating a plant base diet so its the way to go,come on nice propaganda of the MOVEMENT lol!!

  • @mike1981ification I agree, it's the over processed foods that making us ill. I read that vegans have a shorter life span than those who eat meat.

  • @12quillemall5321 thanks, for me grains and to much vegees make me feel bad,i never been that ripped since i focus more on things like liver, raw butter, milk kefir, bone broth, coco oil,cod liver oil etc. so the 1size fits all solution for dieting not for me,and the guy try to sell it buy saying its substainable and it could stop hunger in the world hahaha

  • Thank you for the information. Annmarie looks beautiful.

  • Looks like a photo shoot, maybe to promote Annmarie's skin care products?
