Toews does all the little things that no one notices. Toews is more physical and smarter plus he is 2 years younger than crosby. over all Toews is probrably the best player in the NHL.
really this is like a no brainer, teows is good and all but he only has the potential to be a 70-85 point player while crosby is racking up three digits, and also he scored about 65 points in only 40 games
Toews is good, but come on you cannot compare Toews to Crosby its not even close. Crosby has Toews beat, it would make more sense to me if you compared Toews to someone like Kane. Nothing against Toews though he is a monster.

Toews is just not on that level. He's great, but you can't tell me someone who has yet to reach 70 points is better than a guy who scores 100 + points every year but one(due to an injury)
Well...they're both obviously great players. Sydney is a phenomenal player and a great leader, but Jonathan isn't way off and I believe his points will show soon. In fact back in 07 in his rookie year he was on pace to reaching 90 points but fell to injury. This vid is just debating who had the better year. I'd say Jonathan Toews just for what he's accomplished in 1 year. Not to mention he got MVP in the finals...which Crosby is yet to but in the future may receive.
@NaturalSin22 Oh don't get me wrong. Jonathan is fabulous and yes I believe he had a better year. My response were to @spriggs20 who said Toews was a better player. Sorry shoulda specified that. Toews is a really good player and I'm not saying he's not gonna reach 90 ever, it's just he hasn't landed close yet or after his rookie year. He's not even the highest scorer on his team. Until then I think he's def a level behind Ovechkin and Crosby. IMO.
I gotcha. Yeah, he wasnt really the point making machine this year. If he can play up to his game in the reg. season like he did in the playoffs he can definitely reach over 100 (29 pts in 22 gms). He's got great potential, but yeah I agree...no way anyone would take a 68 pt scorer over a 100+ scorer. Meh....both great players haha
Sidney is the best player in the world and he will always be the Golden Boy of Canadian and American Hockey
