  • Ebert is loserville

  • @kellygreen5556 You're the village idiot.

  • @TheMagmagoblin Coming from Ebert's look alike GOBLIN, that is rich!

  • "Go stand in the lobby and talk!" Priceless.

  • Those 3 critics are legends.

  • I can't take Ebert seriously, I just laugh

  • siskel & ebert are hilarious wonderful and brilliant.

  • Does anyone else just skip over the parts with Roeper?

  • @YesWeCantaloupe Roeper is an excellent critic and a very witty man.

  • @Tman4341 Ahhh... probably a memory I shouldn't have brought back up haha. Thanks though! =]

  • What's the music at the end? I KNOW IT!!!

  • ahhahahahahahahahdhahAHAHAHAHAHhahaha zephyr like breezes!!!!

  • This background music is annoying as fuck.

  • wats the keanue reeves movie theyre talking about

  • @ricepoper Sweet november

  • Ashton kutcher is a terrible actor and a pussy whipped douche. He makes Keanu Reeves look shakespearian by comparision.

  • 2:27, Frozen Assets is the worst comedy ever made...until Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer started making movies.

  • I want to see a Siskel and Roeper show.

  • u do know it has a 2d verson on dvd right

  • aww, poor brittany murphy

  • I'm glad to see I;m not the only one who loves it when they hate a movie

  • I honestly believe that Ashton Kutcher is living proof you don't have to have talent to make it in life. Millions of this people in this country are out of work but he keeps making movies. Why isn't Pauly Shore still out there making films??

  • Did anyone notice the background music was Super Mario brothers on the SNES

  • lol I was thinking "that's right up there with Network" and then Siskel actually throws in a Network reference :)

  • I find it strange that Roeper's insights actually declined in value over the years on that show. He made some fairly origininal and interesting observations/criticisms in his first year or so and then became pretty middle-of-the-road.

  • I really miss these guys.

  • Rob Schneider is... a stapler! Derp der der der dum teedily tum! Rated PG-13.

  • Ebert actually did have positive things to say about the 3-D in Avatar, though later on he wrote an article blasting 3-d so I think he's still mostly negetive about it. Most good 3-D has been done in animated movies. It has gotten better certainly since Spy Kids 3-D, but most live action movies should stay the hell away from it in my opinion.

  • I really dont like 3d either. it takes away the magic. i saw despicable me in 3d, it really is just distracting.

  • 0:10 stop it, Rog! this is too funny!

  • I think the music is kinda distracting, but thanks for the clips anyway!

  • I'm with Ebert about 3-D

  • 3D does suck, unless you're in Disney World

  • crazedlink00 or Avatar!

  • cast roger ebert as bilbo baggins in the new hobbit

  • Thank goodness Ebert shares my opinion on 3D...What a stupid idea!

  • "Roger will be back with more comments about this movie on other shows." ROFL!!!!! I love it!

  • Amen. Best movie review show ever. I always liked Siskel and Ebert not when they were fighting about a movie (which could be highly entertaining) but when they agreed on a bad movie and cracked each other up. Great memories.

  • oh Ebert. Everything I loathe about 3d was just told to the world.

  • @Xtos1989 He ate his words with Avatar.

  • I love how happy Ebert is when he said the movie The Hot Chick got caught in the projector.

  • is there any way to burn these on a dvd?

  • Grounson?

  • Now I remember why I loved this show, in all of its siskel, ebert, roeper iterations, so much!!!

  • wow, movie flash backs. :)

  • "Good God!"

  • My day is getting better and better. I cannot get enough of this stuff and there is no one here to stop me...(curls end of evil moustache.)

  • I <3 this

  • Two thumbs up from me.

  • This is even funnier with the classic gaming background music. :D

  • I can't get enough of "Roger will be back with more comments about this movie on other shows. It will take other shows to complete your review." Very funny.

  • :46 - Ebert is right on the fucking money with that comment. Cosby should be ashamed. Goddamn sell-out

  • At the movies has now gone to the great hall of television in the sky. Would love to see someone put together a compilation DVD of the best reviews, only thing is they would have to get permission to use the clips of the movies. A great show that I love rewatching on youtube.

  • the new guys can't match up to the original team. I feel like the new critics don't have the same passion for film that Siskel and Ebert had.

  • I miss Brittany Murphy!!!

  • R.I.P.......At the Movies......

  • I tend to agree with Ebert... but Brittany Murphy is awful.

  • actually, tragically, what Roeper says so incredulously about how hard it can be to get custody over the porn actress, apparently pretty hard. Too often in family law, even if a mother is proven to be a horrible mom, she still gets awared custody over a proven better more fitter father. Talk about prejudice.

Hate to bring social commentary into this but, well, there you go.

  • Yeah, I hate when that happens.

  • @SuperWillHatch

    Yeah, nontheless true.

  • Roeper makes a good point about Swordfish.

  • zephyr like breezes lol oh boy

  • ClementJ642 - thanks for the collections of clips, but I'd like them a lot better without the corny music.

  • So when they went public with it, they made a mistake? His mouth and a review he made disagreed so it said.....FOR LIKING BRINGING OUT THE DEAD I"MA MAKE SURE YOU SUFFER FAT FUCK?? Interesting.

  • dude, this was tasteless

  • @Sheepy007 Why? I wasn't insulting the guy. I love Roger.

  • @trentkill didn't have a stroke you fucking tool bag

  • wow... you contradict yourself every step of the way... u say u miss him in one sentence and u call him a fat basterd the next

  • After Ebert's rant-> "AND YOU KNOW I AM TOO!"

  • The chemistry between Siskel and Ebert is absolutely awe inspiring. The meticulous, but somewhat detached and analytic mind Siskel posessed and the always subjective, intimate and warm observations that Ebert contributed with, truely made a magnificent duo. A lot of the time, these two critics were far more entertaining than the crap they had to endure. Hats off to Ebert, and Siskel is fondly remembered and missed.

  • @Kagehelvede boy, you're upset, AND YOU KNOW I AM TOO!!! (RIP Siskel, best wishes Ebert)

  • Life SERIOUSLY isn't fair anymore!

Why oh why did Brittany Murphy have to die? She was so pretty and so likable unlike Miley Cyrus and Brittany Spears T_____T

  • But still mediocre.

  • Yeah, but I thought she was cute and I liked her as Luanne in King of the Hill. Voice acting is just as important as live-acting.

  • I couldn't have said it better myself.

  • i love britney murffy

  • thank you for posting, i really miss Siskel

  • "Little Black Book" is so funny. Roeper got wrong!

  • I would like to see Ebert's arm come toward me in the screen in 3-D while he screams "illlleeeegal mooooooove" like in the Kickboxer 2 review.

  • HAHAHA 'all de-tours are set up by terrorists' what a great line.

  • the background music sounds like one of the levels from Super Mario World for the SNES

  • Very well put, I quite agree.

  • I read the book and it was pretty cool. The film doesn't look that bad. It's basically food raining from the sky. It's like Food Armageddon lol

  • Hey, he's not the only one. How many 3D movies have been released lately? Coraline, Ice Age, Up, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, etc. When are the filmmakers going to learn that the 3D adds nothing? They're just making the screen look murky and unfocused.

  • "Great chemistry there between Murphy and the dog."

    -- LMAO!!!

  • My personal favorite of all the S&E tribute videos,.

  • "You have simple tastes."

    "...and a big car!"

  • another 4 stars

  • oh really, I liked Mankiewicz. Of course, Ebert and siskel are the GOATs.

  • Have no fear, for Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz (the new painfully dull critics on At The Movies), have been fired and replaced by two of the best reviewers today, regular guest Michael Philips and A.O. Scott.

  • @NotoriA101 Sarcasm noted, but IMO Scott and Philips both suck even worse, they're totally boring and they usually slam incredible movies (mainly Inception and Shutter Island) while praising total pieces of shit like the Twilight movies.

  • @moviehypno23 They weren't Siskel & Ebert, and I agree that they gave Shutter Island an unfair review, but they were definitely a step up from the boring Bens. I still don't know what they were thinking.

  • nice video but get rid of the mario music in the background FFS!

  • A lot of people point to Siskel and Ebert arguing as the highlights, and their arguments are awesome, but I love it when they just laugh over how much they both hate a film and they prop up each other's riffs instead of throwing them at each other.

  • Aaahahaha he said the only good things about the movie were that it was in color and it was in focus!! So funny!

  • "Boy, you're upset, AND YOU KNOW I AM TOO!" Hilarious.

  • @punisher1432

    Siskel: You have simple taste

    Ebert: And a big car

    LMAO

  • Thanx for uploading this ,fucking hilarious !!!

  • Both Ben's are f***ing bad.

  • oh I think mankawitz is better then lyons.

  • i agree. same here

  • And yet you watch it only to complain...

you have too much time on your hands.

  • I was talking about ben lyons and ben mankiewicz not ebert and roeper.

  • Then I apologize if I offended you. the comment you left was a little vague. so i was confused.

  • They've hit the bricks, and now A.O. Scott and Michael Phillips are the hosts.

Now they can redeem the show..

  • no way they're as good as Siskel and Ebert

  • You're such a pretentious waste of sperm.

  • Gene looked a little too stunned to reply for a second there. Ebert was right, it was one of the worst films ever.

  • i know how Roger feels. I saw Godzilla and was fucking livid with the product placement

  • you tear those fucking stupid celebrities a new one, Roger!!!!!!!

  • LOL, I love the direction of this movie, seriously I like how you picked great videogame music that I never knew could be used to run with comedy haha

  • for the next one add "running scared" and "alexander"

  • Ha! The film catching fire was the best part!

  • My all-time favourite review of their's belongs at 2:00. Just classic, it's amazing how two simple guys can make such a horrendous movie all worth the while.

    Gotta love Roger and Gene.

  • When I think Siskel, Ebert, and Roeper......I think Super Mario World 2 background music. I mean....who doesn't?

  • Opening is the best part. I laughed out loud.

  • Ben Lyons is an annoying twat whereas Ben Mankiewicz is actually very good and likeable.

  • stupid disney why did they cancel it?

  • Technically, they didn't cancel it. They just unfortunately replaced the hosts.

  • Didn't Ebert just retire?

  • No, he had no choice. Ebert's original intention was to come back after his surgery and continue the show, but complications wouldn't allow it. He still reviews movies weekly from his site.

  • I really liked this compilation but the music really started to hurt about halfway through. I guess everyone is a critic.

  • I really like Roeper and Ebert's parallel, "ugh, ugh"s at Sweet November.

  • 4:39 Fascinating commentary.

  • Was Siskel replaced by Roeper after he passed and Ebert replaced by Phillips?

Siskel, Roeper and Ebert were never together on the show correct?

  • Correct.

  • It used to be Siskel and Ebert for the longest time. Then Siskel died and it was presumed that it was over the show Siskel And Ebert. But Siskel And Ebert became Ebert And Roeper and it went on for awhile. Then Ebert lost his ability to speak.

  • was grover on the show

  • "For having seen this movie, I want months and months and months in a beautiful valley with honney, nectar, and sapphire like breezes"

    You deserve it, Ebert

  • Roeper & Phillips' new show is being announced soon!

  • dang it! you stole what i was going to say : P heh. no offense. just kidding. Hooray though : }

  • are they really going to have a Roeper and Phillips review show???

  • yeah. Roger Ebert's going to be helping with the show too. Richard said on an interview with Jay Leno that he, Roger, and possibly Phillips are going to announce the creation of a new show later this year. Plus it has information on their wikipedia pages i think

  • With the set they used for 1986-1991, why does Roger always look like a giant sunbaked turd? Something about the bronze makeup they used on him was very unflattering. Contrasts poorly with the orange background and looks quite unnatural.

  • Very nice touch at the very end! 5 stars just for that!

I haven't even bothered with the "new" show because I instinctively know that talent and ability are a thing of the past (often called "dated," to use everyone's fetish-word). Apparently, reading the comments from others about the new show, I've been very wise.

  • Loenard Part 6 - very true what he says about the commercialism there and product placement, but very common nowadays. amazing to see it in it's early stages. The Swordfish, Frozen Assets and Sweet November comments were beyond hilarious!

  • The Bens' sucks

  • "You have simple tastes"

    "And a big car!" lol

  • Ebert is pretty funny.

  • Siskel: "Boy...you're upset. And you know what?

    I AM TOO!!

    (Ebert laughs)

    Love that part.

  • "Go stand at the lobby and talk!"

    LMAO.

  • YOSHIS ISLAND!!

  • Here are some more classic reviews u could add: The Country Bears, The Skulls, Sleepover, Hidalgo, Species, Walking Tall, Into the Blue, Cheaper by the Dozen, Ice Princess, Lost in Space, and a whole lot more.

  • ATHLETIC!! Great song :D

  • Maybe it's for the best. Nobody can really compare to siskel and ebert and as good as Roeper is , with all the guest critics he had it only showed most critics are just stuffy pretentious pricks with no personalities. I wish Roeper would just have his own show he doesn't need anybody to bounce off of and Ebert will be missed this truly was the greatest movie review show. anything after can't be trusted.

  • Sweet November really is horrible. Search on YouTube for the "12 gifts" scene; the automatic dishwasher is just absolutely hilarious.

  • lol, the end made me sad

  • Their review for Sweet November was funny as hell!!!

  • great clips but next time leave out the music bed, it's not needed and is way too distracting.

  • Rest In Peace Siskel

  • I'd also like to see the end clip from "Laurel Canyon" where Roger tells Richard about "what grows organically".

  • I miss these guy's liked them alot the new ones aren't as good

  • "Frozen Assets" is the funniest review in the history of their show.

  • gonna missem

    its a shame

the new ones suck big time

disney is making me run around hitting random people

  • lmao @ them saying Rob Schneider's movie was at least in color and in focus

  • "You liked this movie, GOOD GOD!!!" LOL Gotta love Roger Ebert.

  • I was absolutely devastated to find out that this show was cancelled. I have been an avid viewer since I was a child back in the 90's and I never thought in my mind that the show was going to ever end.

  • thats how u end up at the clinic too!!!! lmao

  • Hey, that music is from Yoshi's Island! Wow, that is funny. I love Siskel, Ebert and Roeper. Thank you so much for a great video!

  • Yeah I agree, Phillips is great too. He probably works better with Roeper than Ebert does, but nothing can outshine the chemistry that Siskel and Ebert had.

The funniest part of this review was the way Roeper delivered:

Great chemistry between Murphy and the dog.

  • great videos, keep em comin
