The Bible says that Satan and his demons appear as angels of light, and the Bible says that no man can see the Holy Spirit, at least not in this lifetime.

what you may have seen is not of God but more likely Satan trying to suduce you into not believing the Bible and believing something else that leads you to hell rather then heaven.

@carpentersdaughter2 I think the Bible was probably compiled by a few prophets and a whole lot of lawyers, but you can believe what you want I guess. I've also learned in my life that people who begin sentences with "the (holy) Quran says" or "the (holy) Bible says" are some of the least spiritual people I've ever encountered. They always show up on time for church though.
