Agreed. It has undeniable flaws, but it was so amazing taking that game in as early as 2001.

With the right television, the game still looks excellent eight years later. It still sounds fantastic- the soundtrack, the voice acting.

The gameplay is still great, and the story (while convoluted) is undeniably interesting and the first of its kind for a game.

It's been a while, but I know I got all of them for Very Easy - Hard, and I think I got as many as I could on Extreme, but couldn't beat the final Metal Gear RAY fight, you get one from Solidus at the end, so I think I got stuck on 99%.

I also beat about 99% of the VR Missions on Substance. Only a few got me stuck.

I liked the overall political story in metal gear solid 2.

During the end the story seemed to become more involved and became more interesting.

The whole patriot thing at the end was very interesting.
