  • How did you put backrounds on the zune. like for instance you put the picture of that girl. how did you do that??

  • @AckermanHD the originals zune 3gb allowed you to put any picture from your zune as the wallpaper. i dont know about the version after that cept for the zune hd which does not allow for custom wallpaper.

  • @AckermanHD

    "that girl" is Marylin Monroe

  • Oh wow, its like a war went down in here. lol.

Frank -_-. lol. You failed big time, and raged hard.

  • "What I gain by suing you is removing your product from the market until the lawsuit is resolved"

How is that a gain for microsoft? why would they care if some kid has made a game and put it onto his zune? And him making vidoes of it is only free publicity for them, I personally am considering buying a zune just so i can play my own games that I have made on it with the touch screen. Explain to me why Microsoft would want to sue this kid.

  • Peoples assignments in university are to make simple games like tetris, space invaders.etc None of those students getting sued. I'm done dealing with you. Im starting to feel sorry for how much you have embarrassed yourself.

  • P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C. Still haven't answered my questions. Your points do not apply in this case of this game whatsoever, why would they go after a Zune game, Zune games are all free. They aren't removing anything from the market. Thanks for proving your lack of knowledge of Zune games. Which again, confirms, your original comment was pure stupidity. Thanks.

  • @FrankRizzo6662 You are a stupid fucking American and dumb as a truck full of fuck. Go swallow a dick, your opinion isn't worth shit. All Americans are stupid like you, I hope terrorists crash another plane into your fucking house and kill your family. Except not your mother, I still have use for her, that dirty hoe owes me money anyway. Yeah that's right, your mother pays me to suck my dick. I pity you fool.

  • Your old lady can suck my rod, kid

  • @FrankRizzo6662

And I guess they might as well sue me but they arent, ive made Blackjack, X's and O's, Space invaders, Tetris, Connect 4, and plenty more for fun and released them all free. And no ones sueing me or the multimillions of other people making games like those for fun. Get a brain, think and don't be such a dink.

  • And then you woke up

  • you and your blatant swears and angry keyboard warrior attitude. Everyone who visits here can see you are wrong. Id rather take multiple professional's advice over someone like you who can't structure a meaningful response.

Also Why dosn't Linux sue Mac?

You still haven't answered any of my questions. Your wrong you know it and now ur willing to fight to death trying to divert the issue. I apologize for this space wasted on youtube but this is what happens when you confront a troll.

  • @IMattNovakI oh, you're a fucking stupid canadian, that explains why you are dense

  • @ FrankRizzo6662, your arrogant, and very rude not to mention you have no common sense and simply are getting upset because you know your wrong. Answer me this one question! JUST ANSWER ME THIS.

    1. What would they gain sueing somone whos making no profit whatsoever?

    2. Why would they sue him and not the 1 million + other people making a profit off the same game genre?

  • And whats with all the references saying that the zune creator lives in a trailor park? Thats uncalled for.

If he was sue crazy like you describe companies are he could sue you for Defamation.

Your right about people with more money having a better chance at winning cuz of better lawyers but theres no way they could defend themselfs in such a case as this game thats free, were they have no patent because you cant patent such a thing, and that theres millions of clones untouched by them.

  • Rizzo you are oblivious in software law. If people were sue crazy as ur describing nothing would get done. When making games, you use librarys and APIs and SDKs all created by third parties and other individual people.

  • All which are free to use, just like the space invaders genre of moving a ship left to right shooting oncomming enemies.

Its a type of thing that just cant be sued for theres too much against it. And thers no why to retain such a generalized theme.

  • Pretty much what your posing is that the inventor of the guitar could sue everyone that uses the guitar in their music.

  • And to capitalize once more, HIS GAME IS FREE, THEY CANT SUE. THERE'S NOTHING TO GAIN. IF you make a look alike thats free there's absolutely nothing they can do.

And BTW theres hundreds of tousands of games that are practically identical being sold commercially and none of them have been sued.

  • They can sue you, free or not, moron! You are so fucking dense its funny!

  • And Rizzo, can sueing, and will sueing is different. No one would sue him over such a game, if so he could change it up with a few lines of code that would make the lawsuit useless. If your really paranoid thinking that anyone can sue over anything and be successful and that they will sue. Then how would anything get done, how would all those indie and non indie games get done?

Your taking things to superb extremes which are ludicrous in every aspect.

  • You know nothing son, and you are completely wrong child.

  • LOL@Rizzo, you really amaze me.

First of all, no matter what the judge wouldn't fall for that. 2nd theres barely any money to be gained in such a thing, and 3rd never in history has such a stupid thing been successfully attempted your whole idea of someone suing him has no merit.

And heres the biggest point you over looked. Hes making a game for the Zune. Therefore you can't sell it, or else he could get introuble with MS.. So if hes not selling it, NO ONE CAN SUE HIM. Theres no gain!

  • As long as your aren't selling them or legally binding them as yours no one can sue you.

And ur really really not too smart, your saying hes a blip right now on the radar. Well what you think this zune game is going to make a huge profit and giant success. Not to mention HES NOT SELLING IT.

Please man, your first post of someone sueing him is pure non-sense, and you know it.

Grats for embarrassing yourself on the world wide web.

I have no more time for trolls like you.

  • The man with the most money wins. Hence, you will go down. Why don't they sue you now? Because you are a mere turd living in a trailor park. The minute you become visable on radar, you will be taken down and driven out of business when you are out of funds.

  • You know nothing son, and this proves it. Come back when puberty is over kid.

  • Unless if the game is absolutely identical in mechanics and Tomohiro Nishikado has a valid up to date patent on the game mechanics. Then maybe but even then after a sease and dissist, he could just change the way the enemies move and the patent would no longer hold.

Thanks for making me have to explain all this now because your too useless to use common sense.

  • Comment removed

  • Space Invaders is copy written not patented. The name is held under legal jurisdiction. Yet the gameplay mechanics "moving left to right and shooting enemies that appear" is not patented or covered and it cannot be covered or patented within the law to a certain degree. Because that would almost be like patenting a genre which is legally void.

  • Stealing Space Invaders... suprised they dont sue you

  • Your a idiot, there's tons of space invader duplicates. And hes not charging so they cant sue.

  • They can sue you, moron

  • @FrankRizzo6662

No they cant, the idea can not be copy righted or patented. If you keep the same name then yes they can sue you if its commercially distributed. However what your saying is pure retardism. Thats like saying if I made tic-tac-toe id get sued. Or if I made a crossword game I would get sued. lol. Please go educate yourself.

  • @FrankRizzo6662

For example, Tetris, theres how many versions of a tetris like game, thousands, hundreds of thousands. And no one can sue about it.

  • Better learn the law kid, they sure as hell can

  • @FrankRizzo6662

Show me were, and explain to me why thers multi millions of copies of tetris yet none of them get sued, or X's and O's or Snake, or Pong. You loose, good day sir.

  • Go research copyright and tradmark you fool.

  • I have, and i also asked my friend which is a lawyer who deals with trademarks and patents.

So please either answer my question if you know so much or GTFO!

  • ahahahaha! Your 12 y/o armchair lawyer friend eh?

You can be sued you fucking living afterbirth. Did the best part of you run dow your mom's leg? Nobody can be that stupid!

  • @FrankRizzo6662

Your still not posting facts, and now your just being rude or arrogant and by that alone i can tell you know nothing on the subject because you are avoiding the facts.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions that your just a tool who cant stand being proven wrong.

G'day sir, you get nothing, you loose.

  • @FrankRizzo6662

And Rizzo Trademark and copyright have not thing to do with game mechanics, thats to do with the authority to copy or reproduce and to reserve the rights of a image or name, source.

  • Hey, I can sue you just because I don't like the way you look.

Large companies build patent and copyright portfolios. Then, soon as some clown is more than a little blip on the radar, in come the lawyers and down you go. It does not even matter if the patent is valid or not, what matters is can you defend yourself.

Welcome to the real world kids

  • If what matters is that you can defend yourself, well you sure as hell can defend yourself when what they claim is theirs is a generic genre that millions of games are simular to so you could bring up the point why are you sueing me what makes my game different from this one or that one. Right there you would make the person sueing look like a total and utter moron.

  • Hey shit for brains, you NEED MORE MONEY than the person suing you in order to STAY IN COURT. You are clearly a fucking idiot who has no idea how the real world works. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK OR WHAT IS VALID, YOU NEED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO DEFEND YOURSELF OR YOU GET SHUT DOWN. Understand gimp? I'm done with you, you are clearly some dickhead child who is clueless.

  • So im a child? how old are you, and what makes you even have the knowledge to be talking about software law? Do you have experience with it? At least I can have a normal conversation without going apeshit like FrankRizzo6662 here. Not to mention he only replied with rude and offensive responses targeting the end user and not the issue. A company would get absolute 0 gain from sueing someone for a game genre. Theres not 1 instance in history were this has occured or been sucessful.

  • Once again your "green back" kid like brain shows through... What I gain by suing you is removing your product from the market until the lawsuit is resolved, thats what I gain. Look it up kid, it happens every day.

  • I freaking want to Beaver Hack my zune but I'm scared.

  • lol guys check out valgards fate its the best game for zune.

  • same zune as me

  • were you a zune master as well?

  • what?

  • This is why they put such an overpowered processor in the Zune?

  • that's boring check out the new hd licensed zune games!!!

  • The Zune can do better than this. It's just so embarrassing how other similar pathetic (sorry had to be honest) games are being previewed. Enough with these spaceship games that are no better than the original Galaga. I hope that when the offical update is released, licensed games will be available and not just independently done games such as this. Let's just focus on strategy and puzzle games, which would seem to be the only feasible genre given the limited controls.

  • 3.1 update add Suduko, Checkers and Space Battle(space game >_>)...

  • Space Battle is kinda good. But it's weird how your secondary weapon gets reloaded when you resume a game. What's gonna stop us from just using up all our special weapon's ammo in each level and quitting and reentering the game to see the ammo reloaded again? Unfortunately though I own a Zune30 and from experience, the D-pad doesn't suit long periods of playing Space Battle. Oh and THANK GOD they included a difficulty setting for Poker. The previous version was so stupid. Everyone just folds.

  • yeah all in! (Computer Folds) But later in high levels they don't fold. WTF?!

  • Where did you get that kick ass rare edition zune? You know, with the exclusive artwork on the back.

  • you can buy them off of the zune website

  • was that a vinyl skin?

  • no its the limited editoin halo version, i got the same

  • It's not a halo edition

  • can i acsess the games now because i heard it is not coming out till december

  • nice, i got this zune too. it's the best one. =]

i think i'll go re-dl this game...it didn't work for me last time.

  • i have actually sold 2 for other zune ambassadors.

unfortunately the program ended a while ago, and i dont think there are any plans for a future program.

i dont think ill ever sell it. only 200 were made, 1 for eash ambassador.

  • i looked up information on the ambassador edition zunes and searched forever to find one for sale but never found one. would you consider selling yours? and also what was this ambassador thing and how did you become one and receive that edition?

  • What does ambassador editions mean??

  • at the moment you do not have to pay for either.

  • do you have to pay to download xna and or make games?

  • nope!

  • i was an ambassador.

  • WOW! Happy you. You got that F'ing Edition Zune that wasn't even for sale. Where did you get it?
