I just wish there wouldn't be any ridiculous story telling like in most games, most of the stories are just terrible. There should be a law passed where the story line of a GAME, can i stress further that it's a game? If I wanted a good story i'd read something called a book or watch a movie. I play a game to actually play the damn thing, not listen to some author's babbling crap about some miner on mars and that elephants can fly or pigs owning a house.

LOL. Halo's history?! LOL. Halo's storyline can be summed up in about 2 seconds. Big Aliens made big rings to kill other big alien. Humans think they're a target, "BIG RINGSSS BADDDD"

Seriously... where's the complexity and interest in that.

Now Blizzard's lore is quite frankly amazing, and that covers all their Warcraft games. That's only a handful of games that actually have decent story telling. Now why don't you find a few more examples that I can't count on my fingers.

like i said i like halos story tho it aint much, games with interesting ones: Mass Effect, Kotor series, Legacy of kain series(save blood omen 2 that was bullshit) assassins creed has an interestingly developing story currently, GTA (some games had a story str8 out of a blockbuster movies) many games the likes of saboteur had a cliche story they turned into something interesting and fun... i could go on but meh....

this sucks.. ive got to get this game for my ps3 bc my xbox 360 disk tray wont even respond wen i push the open button. ughh.. shooters are much better on the 360 controller plus ive been adding up achievements ever since it came out

I bought this game and it is amasing. The story although not perfect is better than people like to say. It isnt like other games that tell story through cutscenes. This game tells the story through the world and enviroment. although the world not beautifull is what you would expect from mars and it good in that aspect. it is hard yes but what do you think taking on a army almost by yourself would be. I think they made it hard to portray this idea. All in all it is a good game and a must buy.
