Thanks for your viewing.This is well recognised as an Iron Age settlement that was extant during the Roman occupation.Coins and artefacts show three stages of context. A neolithic chamber lies very close by.It is not Roman occupation building style or method.Such as that found at Housesteads.Romans did not build round huts without mortar and always used their own version cement as found in Wroxeter.The Romans certianly may have used it but the foundations are much earlier.
Some once said this was a protected place for Angels :) Then, it was changed to be birds lol......Just a Myth perhaps Im sure-- but Beautiful -- Thank you :)
This place is not originally Celtic it is a 4th century Roman village

Thanks so much M.If you could get there and spend the night with candles and such you might be able to get a feel for the spirits.
