It probably is...Your hair is possibly a coaser texture than hers or it could be the color. Either way that's great that your making such quick progress!
how did you decide to loc your young child's hair? i would be hesitent because kids and get so dirty. im glad you did though. i like thinking about how youll teach her to groom and care for her hair, and she wont have to go through the trama relaxed girls and young women are going through. keep up the good work mommy! (or daddy!)
I wash her hair often and I don't put much product in her hair either. She's very clean and good hygiene is something i teach my children from birth. That's something all children should know regardless how their hair is maintained. Thanks for your comment :)
coming along good. We did get some styles on my daughter finally. My daughter has decided she likes styling her hair but she does not like the manicured roots. So be it, I put it on perm rods and she was out.
The neat roots aren't for everyone. I've seen many people with beautiful locs that don't have such a neat pattern. They look nice and full. I bet her locs look beautiful. I would love to see pictures.
Well thank you..that is very nice of you..I would need that too cause it will be a year at the end of this month and i haven't had someone else do my hair but once...I am so excited about my loc birthday..okay i am rambling
Well, that's something to be proud of. You care and maintain them yourself. Many people can't do that. I can't. I tried to do my own and it doesn't come out as well as when I do others. You're not rambiling...you have "Loc Pride" lol
I'm so glad to hear that. I started her locks 3 weeks b4 mine. Her carefree attitude helps me get thru it as well. And we all know how hard this journey is.
I wish my hair was growing as fast a hers. Her locks have gotten so thick and are maturing so fast. I can see her locs are going to be much longer than mine
man im 4 months now... my hair looks more locked tho i guess because of the color.

your daughter is an inspiration. She inspires me to never give up... no matter how frustrating this journey can be at times. Keep it up!
