It's not that I hate Lucario itself. I love the concept of a Fighting Steel Type. It's the whole "Mewtwo" take. Being that I'm a HUGE diehard Mewtwo fan, Mewtwo is Mewtwo, and Lucario should be Lucario.

And the "Aura" has absolutely no basis on being part of a Pokemon's power, it's simply chi or Ki energy that fighters use. Lucario should not have any credit to it.

Ultimately, I did want to bash on him some more, but I didn't have enough room for the jokes I did want to put in there. XD

The same could be said about Mewtwo's psychic abilities. Mewtwo isn't the only one who has psychic powers, as many other Pokemon do. If you're talking pseudo-reality like chi, then there could be considered to be psychic humans as well.

I haven't played any Pokemon games with Lucario in them. I just got attached to him through Brawl.

Nope. Lucario isn't the only one who can see it. In fact, Lucario wasn't even aware of it until a HUMAN told him about it and taught it to him. Plus, they've given him Psychic-like abilities when he's a Fighting/Steel type in which he shouldn't have those abilities at all.

As for Mewtwo, yes he is Psychic, but his powers far exceed any other Psychic in the Pokemon world. Human or Pokemon. His capabilities are his own. But what truly makes him unique is his story. Lucario's is ...similar.

No doubt Mewtwo is the strongest psychic. The movie plots are only similar on a basic level - betrayed by humans, the forgival of said humans in the end.

The canon Lucario from that movie (the same one in Brawl) is the only one that has shown the ability to track Aura and talk via telekenisis, though, placing him apart from other Lucario. I mean, the human that taught it to him died, so presumably the art was lost with him. Therefore, no other future Lucario could use the Aura in that manner.

Hey guys, forgot to mention this but I did a little research a while back. It seems the Aura/Life Force, Chi/Ki/DBZ Energy, and Chakra/Naruto Energy are all related in some way. In this regard, Aura can be included as an energy that fighter type characters can learn DBZ/Naruto/Yu Yu Hakasho etc... In respect to this connection I'd have a lot more respect for the "Anime-version" Lucario since it would make him even more reasonable to use it.
