Actually picked up a phone as a second phone to use to talk to my friends and family. I used to use my work phone for everything but I thought it would be nice to have a number just for my personal use and for only xxx bucks a month why not? Long story short my unlimited straight talk phone has been so reliable that I’ve been using it for work too!

I got the Samsung Finesse from Straight Talk last year and I've loved it and the unlimited plan! Can any of you tell me if the Nokia 6790 is worth up-grading and why or should I stick with my Finesse? One way or another I'll stay with Straight Talk as it's the best unlimited plan out there.

@posserable I wouldn't even call it "the same" service... Remember, Straight Talk uses the Verizon towers, and that's the US's largest network which means NO dropped calls.  It's an upgrade for less!

I have absolutely no complaints about my straight talk phone. I pay $45 a month for great service and unlimited talk, text, mb of data transfers, and free 411. I cannot say anything bad about the service or my Nokia 6790!

yo!!! straight talk is the only way to go for cheap cell phone service! trust me, i found out the hard way. i was paying twice what i'm paying now when i was on my last plan. dats why i like straight talk, its so much cheaper and you only gotta pay once a month, and if u don't like it, you can cancel and they dont make you pay more for canceling like all those other cell phone companies.

Yes,a hight quality network at a low cost,who else can promise the same, and Straight Talk knows what they are doing,they are part of Net10 and Tracfone which has been around! Yeah ST is pretty new,but to offer the best network nationwide,they are making a name for themselves! So fortunate to have stumbled upon them at Wal-mart. Straight Talk Ad is real I know that for a fact because I purchase on myself. No contracts to sign and way less money than other companies. Straight Talk Unlimited text, talk, and great reception everywhere you go. Research on this cellphone like the Ad person told the interviewer. The Verizon network really does have the best coverage. I can't believe I have not dropped a single call since I switched to Straight Talk. My last contract used to drive me crazy, I was constantly dropping calls and then there's that awkward gap when both of you are wondering who is going to call the other back and you end up just calling each other back at the same time so you can't get through. This is one simple daily hassle which Straight Talk has kicked right out of the window for me!

I couldn't agree more. With straighttalk I get fantastic coverage and I find that I dont have to wait for those scarey bills every month.  Now I now that with the $45 unlimited deal all I pay is $45 for the 30 days. GREAT

What's not too like? Better coverage, a phone with more functions at a better price as well as being able to control your own spend each month and actually save half the money that seemed to just evaporate into thin air when paying multiple unexplained charges that seemed to apear out of nowhere each month. Straight talk is the business!

this guy is so right. on a contract they keep finding things to charge extra for. not so with Straight Talk. i pay my $45 a month and get unllimited talk, text and web access. no extras for long distance calls either. very plain and simple deal. love it.got a husband who travels for work quite a bit, and we are phoning each other a lot, and even though he is in a different state, no extra charges and no dropped calls. just great.

i decided i wanted some extra cash to spend and i decided the easiest way to do it was to switch my cell phone plan, i switched to straight talk and i am completely content with my phone and i love my plan and plus i have an extra 50 bucks a month or so in my pocket to blow (or save).... so you're welcome... economy

The coverage is exceptional, the price is unbeatable, the phone selection is great! I don't know why people are still signing cell phone contracts when deals like this are available. I suppose old habits die hard. Even if it costing people money.

Yes it is! I just got one. Switched from TMobile. Now not only and I saving money on my cell phone bill, but I am actually getting a better deal for my dollar. I am spending $45 a month on unlimited talk and text and GREAT service since its on America's most reliable network (Verizon). Great job Tracfone.
