Dufay was stopped by the war, only still Dufay film was later made, and for large format users, like studio work for magazines and books. The high contrast problem on copies was only dealt with by getting Technicolor at Denham to print the films, and I believe this film survives on such a print. When contact printing on to Dufay stock was done it gave too high a contrast and deeply saturated colours, very dim on the screen. Technicolor could reduce the contrast, whilst retaining saturation.
