I have to agree that when I watched this I was moved to the core. They did an amazing job on this, and to be honest I was very surprised that Vicci was chosen, don't get me wrong now I love Vicci, but Niki really did a number on this one and man she just hit it hard and has an amazing voice and IMHO did shine a bit brighter on this song.  In the end it really was trying to split hairs, they both were just incredible. I still watch this performance about twice a week its just that awesome!

Completely think Ceelo made the right choices with the team he had. As for Niki and Vicci specifically, Vicci's got the much more unique and mature voice, better and more interesting vocal technique and all that. I liked Nikki but her voice and singing style is something I've heard a million times. And.. Pink is awesome btw. :)

Blake was right, Cee Lo made a big mistake. Niki was removed too soon, she had so much to offer. I am a fan of Vicci but Niki was better in this particular performance and only the war dance saved Vicci.

One thing I really love about this show is how I keep finding the live performances better than the studio recordings. Rebecca Loebe's Come as You Are, and especially this duet. Though the studio recording disappoints slightly, it also reminds me just how fantastic the live performances have been.

I think Nikki perhaps has a better voice, but THIS song I think was more Vicci because whereas Nikki demonstrated more technical prowess, Vicci's voice I think had more passion, and I think a lot of times passion and emotion is what grabs a listener's attention.

@cyberlucifer I agree, it would have been better if we ( and the judges) got to see more performances of the contestants; so that it could be more cummulative for the choices instead of just the 1 performance.  Niki did a lot better on this, but Vicci performance of Dog Days are Gone, although not vocally performance was epic.

I think in the end they are treating this job more like idol than "the voice", I would agree Niki did sing better despite myself being extremely biased towards Vicci. It seems like Vicci has more appeal to be a "superstar" than Niki.

@cyberlucifer I disagree completely. Niki has the standard "great" voice and is very talented. But especailly if you get a chance to see her live Vicki has this amazing presence and this completely special and unique voice that really is fantastic and hits you hard. Recorded like this it loses some of that presence, but she's one of the best live performances you'll probably ever see.

@cyberlucifer I havnt watched the voice my friend directed me to look up vicci because she has a crush on her. But besides the point. What I wanted to say it that I grew up music training/voice training since I was around 5 years old. From a voice control view Niki actually has more control over her notes and has better control over when she changes her notes, she also has more of a note range, which is partly to do with the fact she has a naturally higher singing voice than Vicci.

But then another girl from Blakes team covered it 2nd nite, and nailed it, too.

Today/last nite. Niki won. She should have, if the shows "judges" were responsible and honest. Cee loved viccis 'warlike dance' so he picked her and sent the OBVIOUS best of the two home.

And uppl...love him? If u knew u were easily better than someone else but u were sent home, NO, u wouldnt be liking him so much.
