what sort of motor would a lawn mower motor get you going an d whats the average price

lawn mowers are hard with the vertical crank design so idk how you would change that into a chain to a sprocket or what ever you're planning to use as a drive line.

basically if you looking into buying a motor look for an old dirt bike motor or streetbike motor, then it gets fun :)

@xfell2009 to use a lawn mower you would have to use a v pulley system, requiring a live axle and belts that will get burnt up.

just get a vertical engine

i need to redesign it. bigger tires. put A-arms on it and a swing arm in the rear and redo the clutch and shifting method because right now it's soo hard to drive. but it has the power just small tires :/
