@gole311 Dolphins 21-20... Wild Finish... on the last drive, Dan Marino scrambled for a 15 yard gain (Yes, Dan Marino ran for it) and then fired a 30 yard TD pass as time wound down to win it! :)
@slydawg221 Yup, but your average sports fan in Miami (Which heavily leans toward football) would trade all those titles for a Super Bowl championship... :)
If I had no idea James Brown came from WUSA [then WDVM] in Washington, I would've thought he'd have been there forever. [Then again, Fox did start NFL telecasts in '95, which accounted for a good many stations switching to the network].
@OTownNews ... and JB actually was calling games on CBS for at least a couple of years prior to the NFL switching to FOx... somehow, he lost his touch as a play-by-play between the time he left switched to Fox in 94 and his failed run at play-by-play in the NCAA tournament a few years ago... :)
@johnson1095 If I'm not mistaken, I think his name was Don LaFontaine. I remember he did alot of voiceovers for FOX programming in the 90s, even a little bit for NBC programming as I have seen on some old clips, as well as many movie plugs/promotions during that time.
@theicchamp06: definitely, marino took the dolphins to superbowl xix in his rookie season...miami may have won if it wasn't bill walsh's dominant 49ers standing across the field.....remember (the superbowl that year was at stanford stadium, practically a home game for joe montana and the 49ers)
@domirules28 1994 would have been perfect payback... had the Dolphins not gotten screwed in the playoffs (Miami would have hosted San Francisco in the Super Bowl and would have probably had the best shot at them)... but, we'll never know... :(
the dolphins jersey in the 80's were like a aqua blue -turquoise blue which was kinda lame, I like these 90's jersey way better they were more aqua-green which blends better with orange. this was there best jerseys at this time/era, i hate the dark blue lining they have added to them now.
Week 14. I happened to have had the Pittsburgh Steelers-Houston Oilers game from that same week and uploaded a few pregame segments, the intro, a halftime report and a brief clip.
Its always FOX with this CRAP! Fox always finds a way to kick a fanbase when they're down. I'll never forgive them for interrupting a Simpsons episode that was cheering me up after that depressing playoff game against the Chargers with a McDonald's game break that said the score of that game, which they didn't have to do because THERE WERE ONLY 2 GAMES THAT DAY! People blame ESPN for a lot of crap in sports, but Fox is just as accountable!
@professorintellect Oh, FOX always aired those Sunday night recaps back then. They discontinued the practice when they were forced to drop the McDonald's sponsorship of the game breaks.
@SFFOOL76 It got off to a good enough start... I agree that Dick Stockton probably should have gotten the top job in 2002 (Though I think Sam Rosen is their strongest play-by-play announcer)... :)
So who won?

Fox changed sportscasting in 1994 whether for good or bad. I choose bad, due to over doing everything and Joe Buck as their main announcer.
