  • This is the worst way to use electronics ever? Accompanying? There are better ways to do that, than having a robot to do it. Think wall panels.

  • Visit vpforum.web.com for the future.

  • i want one lol

  • That robot will unhook you life support when your incapacitated

  • OMG HELP ME MY LIVER FELL OUT!!!!1111oneone

command not found, please try again

  • why the fuck do they have cat ears?

  • some robots who woke old people will be creeped out or get a heart attack

  • ya never know what will happen between humans and robots in the future... hmmm.

  • yo sooo cool that all our fucken jobs in the future...like tomrrw will be extinct...like the stupid humas that invented the damn computer! pay attention...the human race is on its way out!

  • And your point is? Look, I'm a nurse, I'll soon be a full RN, and if these things ever replace me, I'll just upgrade my credentials to a masters in bioengineering and design these buggers even better than before.

I hate to tell you this bud, but jobs WILL change over time, that's how both culture and technology work. Unless you can change with the times, you'll spend most of your life looking for a job.

  • @Xadreos Yep. I'm so happy I'll becoming a pilot..and It would be awesome to have a Android Co-Pilot to help out with repairs when the come apparent..Sort of like an Astro-Mech Droid. ^_^ It would be AWESOME >_< :D

  • @arshdeep125 That already exists, only her name is "bitch'n betty". Hopefully you get that one... ^_^

  • @Xadreos Don't think that you are so irreplaceable. No matter what degree you get there will always be a higher one. And if programming gets that good, a robot computer could access anything you learn faster. Robots also don't need breaks or lunches can work OT nonstop. Robots can be better than owning slaves they never have to pay. Employers already treat employees like slaves understaffing and overworking. This is just what they'd love; more for their buck. .......

  • @Miracle490d Even so, even if all forms of labor were performed by the machines, they would still need people to repair the robots, design better ones, and manage them; that would be done by humans. As technology improves we will likely need people to research how to replace damaged organs and extend life; that would also be done by humans. Even if robots surpass us, humans will catch up to them; the one thing that defines us as a species is to not accepting the hand we're dealt.

  • @Xadreos (Employers already treat employees like slaves understaffing and overworking.) ...... It's bad enough we compete with eachother for fewer jobs cuz workers are made to do twice as much, now we can compete with machines that need no rest or salary. The medical field is supposed to be the best market, too. Looks like no industry is safe. How many unemployed college grads are there now?

  • @Xadreos I dont think you guys will ever see a robot replacing humans in your lifetime.

  • If the hospital admits that they have limited applications and they move like, 2 feet an hour, why would you pay 60 million yen for them?! Don't you think you could've spent that money a little more wisely??

  • Look, all the japanese are doing is buying them now so that the manufacturers don't stop upgrading and making them. If people continue to buy robots and they keep getting better, pretty soon their capabilities wont be that limited.

  • @jedichihuahua

Do the math. Each robot cost the equivalent of $22,000 USD. That's about half the yearly salary of the human employees they replaced, and they don't need to be paid, which means in 6 months they'll have paid for themselves.

  • @Zamboro And robots can work 24/7 if they recharge, so this means robot will work 168 hours per week and human works only 8h/5d 40 hours weekly,at the industry do you know how quickly stuff will be produced 5x faster, its true that some jobs will be replaced by them, but now there are some jobs at the internet,so maybe in the future we will make money from internet and not from going to a place, work there and then come back home, its like to eat you need to go to a place, but now we eat at home.

  • @Zamboro Yeah this is really bad. Employers are too greedy now treating humans like slaves. Imagine how bad it can get if every employer can just buy employees that easy. Our lousy governments do nothing to protect working people. POOREST minimum wage and no limit to how hard they drive you. It can only get worse. :(

  • nice, really cool!

  • A hospital where I live (Norway) is employing robots too, but they don't look like manga characters. They look like small cars and are mostly there to deliver medicine to doctors, drive laundry and stuff like that.
