I love the fact Alanis shared her writing experience of this song....I know she is deep, and it just shows a deeper side and that is big!! One of the many reasons I love Alanis
the very first time i saw this on the Feast on Scraps DVD, whenever she started crying, i broke down and broke down and cried my eyes out and had the pause it because i realized that the emotion in her songs doesn't just cause me to cry and that it means so much more to her than it could to anyone else.
Wow! It is astonishing to see her creating and eventually crying when the emotion is so powerful.
I don't really know her music, but I do know at least 5 themes that I _really_ adore.
And it is pretty obvious to me that to become an artist like this doesn't occur just by 'accident'. It is because her music is full of true emotion, and can resonate with peoples' heart. No wonder how all those songs touched me all these years!
i love how real alanis is..i bet she cired alot while writing jagged little pill..i have been a fan of alanis since 1990 being from canada i have enjoyed her from her dance pop to todays style..shes great
the subject matter of the song got to her. Have you ever had an intense experience (that maybe made you cry) and you saw something later or said something later that reminded you of the experience? That is what she felt.
she's such an inspiration. im an artist myself, and whenever im drawing/writing i have to do it alone and all. i love her.
