  • Danqqq!!!!

  • @BigLaxFan94 There wasn't but the kids who made the music are named Mistaken Identity. They are very cool kids they don't drink or use drugs, they actually have jam sessions with others to raise money to give to non-profits. Thats how I met them I worked for the Domestic Violence Shelter and they invited me to go to one of their fund raisers and they gave us their collections. It so affected me that youth were doing this ever since then I have been promoting them. They are now 20 years old.

  • This video was done by a group of youth that were on probation. They had to learn how to put a story board together, they had to ask the Tohono O'odham Police Department and the Tohono O'odham Emergency Response (Abulatory) and the Juvenile Detention Center to be apart of this video. It was amazing, they knew nothing about putting a video together they learned as they went from working the camera's, to the audio and getting up to present at many different programs. I am so proud of them. cfa

  • wow crazy!! but good job on this video. we love the video!

  • @azsenia This was a program through the Justice Center this was their first video project, they learned how to use the cameras, audio and they were able to meet with the community professionals to have them help their project. The kids had mention this was their first time having a positative interactiong with the community. When completed they showed each program that helped them and they got the red carpet. It was great!

  • I wish it was that easy to get beer hahahahaha

  • 2) Most people don't even get the fact that rez's are remote areas. And not enuf cops to patrol them areas. Like where I am if a cop is over @ point A & they get called to point B it's pretty much a decision of wether or not that call is more important than what's going on @ A. If B is more important it takes almost an 1 & 1/2 hrs to get to point B. By then the situations over and everyone's scattered!

  • @draghynmystress This is true that is why I have been working with youth to start making film video to start educating people not about the drugs and alcohol but for other information. This was just their first project and I wanted to show them how easy it could be. They really had a great time and didn't realize they were learning. So this to be continued it's called healing through media and art.

  • @nativetalkshow09 To me the video quality is NOT important, it's what the video is about. And that's all that SHOULD matter. Sometimes programs can't get the funds needed to to be high tech. So long as the material is there and there's a point to it then that's what is wrong with pushing forward? I mean that sort of sends a message to - that kids have aspirations and they struggle to get those dreams met, just shows how hard they work to become someone, a trait not appreciated.

  • 1)Thanks for the vid!!! Rez life is literally being on your own. On alot of rez's if u get beat up it can be days, weeks, or NEVER waiting for a cop to get there to help u. U learn to fight early to protect yourself cuz no one else is gonna. Those of us who got kids we want to protect from this shit got a hard job of it! Ppl work, and ppl get jelous over dumb shit. They hate on u over jelousy. There are so many unsolved crimes it ain't even funny. Ppl even fight over who's more traditional!

  • @draghynmystress Oh I so agree the kids in this video really had to make this video with low digital camera's we were supposed to get very high tech cameras but that didn't happen. We didn't even have audio for this therefore the low quality of this was pretty bad. None of the youth had ever done this but they were awesome! What I wanted to prove is that we could still complete this even if things didn't go our way.

  • @ThePerson777. . ennit! lolz, iqnorate muhfukaz. .dey wudnt last a minute in our shoes :-P

  • please think before you post these videos...your not haveing fun its only a false front...so why show a negative false front...i dont want to see my grandkids doing the party or fight videos were trying to get that off the rez....and i hope the tribe succeeds but not without everyones help....

  • @kylee4001 This was a program for youth to learn about working camera's and story boards and including working with the community. They had to request help from 3 to 4 different agencies which they never did and actually had a great time with the tribal police. They never had positive interaction until this. In order for them to get comfortable using the equipment I let them pick the topic. However we are going to continue this work with better topics and increase their view of other careers

  • im sorry that native feel they have to show the negative...no native pride here...there is no pride in fighting or drinking...your just drowning your problems...why do you want to be someone else...you want to be rappers gangsters black...what is wrong with being a strong native american...

  • @kylee4001 yeah man like how indians think posting ideos of gettind runk at parties is deadly. not een.

  • its interesting to see all these comments and peoples views on the rez. you can't be mad at people for what they don't know about. these people only now what they hear and see on t.v. and for people in it know they manipulate stories and don't tell the whole truth. they live in this happy non harmful world so seeing this its hard to believe and they think we put ourselves here. grammy reminds me that these zhaagnaash are like little kids and not cultured, they don't know any better.

  • nice vehicles, nice houses, free moula. i see no reason to let your kids run around like hooligans, if thats how some would like to live so be it, but it is not the governments job to look after the lake of parenting. Hate these stupid videos they make it looks so bad. But really... if i could live for free... id love it and not abuse it.

  • HEY NATIVES!! WHY IS IT THAT YOU DON'T WANT WHITE PEOPLE LIVING HERE....YET YOU ALLOW THEM TO LIVE ON THE REZ????? AND ANY NON-NATIVES AT THAT!!!

  • @AKMNDTX

most natives didn't choose to live in reservations, they were forced to. so, i'd like to see you, telling them something about choices!

  • it all starts with parents! or government giving rations to natives in the first place. "convenience" is getting us chubby, making us lazy and then, selling booze to us. so what, we are hungry? we need smarter, sober, more stern parents. willing to retake the lands that were once our grandparents'!

  • @gameill There is nothing in the world that "makes" you do anything. It is all about choices. People don't force others to eat Cheetos, drink a case of beer, and share their $1200 couch with you. Get a clue . . . or an education.

  • @AKMNNDTX 24 years old, and i don't know that i have a choice? i am not the one living on EBT, selling it for booze. i have a job, i take care of my family. don't be ignorant.

  • @gameill This was a program through the Justice Center to have them use their energy in a different direction, this was their first video project, they learned how to use the cameras, audio and they were able to meet with the community professionals to have them help their project. • yes it all starts with parents. BUT its not really fair to stop selling alcohol and prescription drugs to the people who are not abusing it. Don't drink it if you don't want, don't snort it, don't smoke it. Something needs to change but no one knows what

  • @MissKoolAid2669 This was a program through the Justice Center to have them use their energy in a different direction, this was their first video project, they learned how to use the cameras, audio and they were able to meet with the community professionals to have them help their project. • This is the perfect example why the white's took your lands.

  • @cubanboy740 fuck yu!

  • @cubanboy740 I love this video because it brings so many comments both negative and positive, however nothing ever is black and white. I do agree that we were manipulated to losing our lands due to alcoholism that we were not prepared for. It has been a long haul to start healing and I am glad to say we are healing. We as the people need to stop being angry and grieve what we lost. Only then we can begin to heal. cfa

  • @cubanboy740 This was a video that the kids made up, based on some of their experiences. It was a program to teach youth to use the cameras, audio and story boards. They completed this project by meeting & taking ownership and communicating with the community, when completed they showed it to their community and got very good feedback. None of them ever used the camera, audio or even interacting with the police depart., emergency response team or the Justice Center in a positive manner.

They learned how to use the camera, learned how to follow through on projects and communicate with their community. It was all of the youth's participation us adults were just there in case they needed assistance.
