I was going to suggest that for any non-voice recordings you do, that you record directly from the device, but it sounds like you already did that here, so huzzah!
This song is really "warm" feeling, which usually I don't care for as much, but this one is "sprinkly" enough that I like it anyway. (When you don't go to any music school, you make up your own adjectives, which probably sound idiotic!)
@JXQ2000 Yeah for piano-only stuff, the sound is recorded directly from the piano to the computer. Looking into getting a decent mic so I can do the same for song/piano stuff is on my to do list, as the current solution leaves a lot to be desired imo.
I think I get what you mean by sprinkly, though I'm unsure you'll find it in any Intro to musical theory type books :) Thanks!
dude, youre awesome. i wish i could play this good. ive been practicing for a year now. need to learn how to improvise and shit so i can play your version of Can You Feel the Love Tonight and maybe this after.
@paulinotou Thanks man, I appreciate it. The more you play a certain song, the easier you will find it to improvise/add a little something here and there to make it sound more interesting. The more you play in general, the easier you will find it to improvise/add a little something to anything you play. In short, keep practicing, it pays off :)
@FSjoblom i want to buy the book but they are apparently out, is there a way you can give me the chords to this song? i'll subscribe if you care. i like this version. its has a warm cozy feeling about it.
Very nice to listen to, how did you learn to improvise?
