Glad to see this, gal. Three cheers! Unfortunately, it's not just Belltown. First Hill and Capitol Hill are probably worse. The druggies are totally brave up here. They just do it out in daylight on the street - who needs to hide. If you say something - they get pissed off...like you are inconveniencing them. The Seattle Police are clueless. Our city is a complete mess and the situation is out of control.

Sadly the people that end up paying the most in jail time are the addicts who need help, they ca not stop themselves no matter what you do, so I'd go with filming the dealers, but you are risking your life, they may not know your name but they will know where you live, and obviously they figured out what you are doing by not looking up and using their coat to hide. Be careful.

I recognize almost everyone in these videos as crackheads who hang out infront of Wally's on 2nd and pee and smoke in MY alley also.

sadly seattle has a serious lack of police at this time and as you probably know drug possesion is not a high priority crime, even if they are arested they just get out within hours and waste the courts time and money. the only way to end this problem is to let them destroy themselves. Must be pretty weird to pay so much for an apartment and then realize what belltown is all about huh?

Sadly, we do. This is done in normal daylight hours with many of my building tenants walking or driving by (you can see that in other videos). The many many many times I have said something, I just get totally ignored and they do not even walk away.

I live in Belltown too with my daughter (a baby). These guys might look harmless and funny from your computer screen, but let me tell you that passing them on the street, in broad daylight, while they deal drugs and smoke crack is actually pretty scary. THEY ARE FREAKING CRACKHEADS! They look at you like they will stab you in the face.
