not neccesarily, if the song is already that damn good, why change it? a cover is a person interpertation of the song, joe cocker just had a completely different idea of what that song should have been, this guy just put a different take on the song instead of completely changing its compisiton, still good though, i know what you're saying though, i used to feel like that, but not anymore
