  • I bought the very first Copilot software in the late 90’s at $1000 each ( I bought 2) I should have realized back then what an unstable, unreliable poorly written program it was. There is no after sales service unless to fight them at the highest level and threaten them with legal action. I would later buy the $59 iphone software after I was assure all bugs were fixed, & yet nothing was fixed at all. EVERY TIME I need this app, it fails me. Every time!, DO NOT BUY IT. Anything else but not this.

  • Iv'e bought it and its actually the worst £20 Iv'e ever spent. And I once bought a £35 glass pineapple

  • you dont really want gps that requires a data connection for driving. get sirfstar iii

  • navigon is the best i dont care about the star wars voice tom tom has

  • Oh my god there's so many updates since this video has come out, and well there's loadsa new gps apps also out cheaper ones, but all around I love copilot. It's never failed me, and I use all the features, and the voice does NOT sound like that, for a mid range price you get a full range product..

  • does it cost to use it .. what i mean is u need to be connected t internet t use it?

  • Great video review. thanks.

  • 3o dollars?! Bulshit, never purchasing...

  • @ilovehalo45 broke looser

  • Must be something wrong with your phone Knight if it takes Google Maps 2 minutes to find you and this never has found you. Mine (3GS) locates me in a second or two on Google Maps and less than five seconds in copilot.

  • Worked perfectly for me during a recent two week trip to the UK where I put in a LOT of miles. Easily as responsive as my standalone Tom Tom.

  • The UK version is dreadful. I live in Blackpool and my nearest railway station is 50 miles away in Bury! (Apparently Blackpool North and Blackpool South don't exist). Google maps can find my position at my house in 2 minutes... Co-Pilot still hasn't found it yet! Rubbish app and a waste of money! Might work great in the US, but in the UK it is a disgrace

  • I LOVE this app! I actually prefer it to Navigon (always had problems with getting my GPS location). I like the multi-stop function. I like all the different voices available. Although text-to-speech is choppy and computerized, the other voices are very pleasant and easy to understand. It's also nice to have an "itinerary" view to see all the directions in advance. Overall, love this app! I also bought it for only $20 on black friday 09!!

  • just downloaded it but it doesnt open,.... any help

  • i have just installed the UK copilot but when i try to open it on my iphone it just closes down..... can anybody help please.....

  • yep sounds like you didnt buy it

    am i right?

  • @leehall1977 Did you buy it? Doesn't sound like you did...

  • I know you said it doesn't need internet to use, but will I be able to use this in Canada with the 3G/Data services completely turned off?

  • thank you for the review.

  • This was a nice review. I'm living in Denmark, and i've bought this App for my iPhone 3GS 16 GB. It works so well, and only take like 500 mb space. I have also seen other reviews, and this is the best GPS u can get for the price. Navigon have got abit better ratings, but its so minimal. So go buy this folks :)

  • Great review and a very nice inexpensive option to the other PNDs. One of the best value I've seen so far that actually works well.

  • Do you need an internet connection in order for the Co-Pilot to work?

  • No internet connection needed. All maps are downloaded to your iPhone.

  • Another great GPS review Mike.

  • Best app review youtube show on the planet, 5 stars as always. Great job.

  • turn-by-turn sound a lot like Microsoft Sam?

Overall this might be so far best bang for the buck-navigation software!

  • nice stuff mike I DEEM THEE THOU ART OFFICIAL GPS-MAXIMUS REVIEWUS GRANDUS MASTER....US, LOL. absolutely love your past gps reviews and this is no different nice stuff again mike

  • great application, it is not complicate, it just has a lot of features..

  • great review..im hesitant to spend money on a gps app on my iphone, when i can get a stand alone for just a couple more dollars.

  • well this one's only $35, which makes it much more affordable than the tomtom and navigon alternatives

  • decent GPS for a pretty nice price. great job on the review mike !

  • iz he jailbroken?

  • Useful

  • As always, great job Mike

  • kfc

  • It looks like they took a lot of your points from previous GPS app reviews. I wish navigon had a lot of these features.

  • like your quality what type of camera are u using im in the market for a good camera

  • Nice Review!

  • You can use your fingers to zoom in and out on the 2D screen, but not the 3D screen. A lot of other more expensive apps work the same way. He comments about it being sluggish, but he was in demo mode and you can adjust the speed of the demo mode. In real mode it works very nicely. I do agree with his assessment of the menus; they do need to be reworked. Also, the map data appears to be several years old. Places that were constructed within the past 5 years were unknown.

  • Nice thorough review..pretty decent GPS for the price
