  • XD If my water was doing freaky stuff like that, drinking it is the last thin i would think of doing. Nah i keed. Some of the best animation i have seen in a long time. I watched you run your hand under the tap over and over like 0.0.... Very well done :3

  • @Computinator haha so glad you like it. thank you :D

  • amazing

  • dude, this is some of the best water-clay stop motions i have ever seen! you just blew my mind...

  • Really enjoyed that. We've just made one would appreciate your feedback if you get a sec? Can't post the link but if you type in "from inception to completion" you can see it. Anyway sorry for taking up peoples time hope yhou like it

  • @SamuraiJack650 thank you so much. and I watched your animation. it got that professional look, I like the intro alot and I loooooved when you attached papers to that wall, but some small parts felt a bit rushed. work a bit on making movements more fluid and natural but I really liked the animation!

  • THAT, is awesome :)

  • Super smooth animation, how did you do the floating bits of water?

  • @LionHeartPortugues thanks mate! I got a tutorial for that on my channel :)

  • @Guldies Thanks for answering. Since your reply was so enthusiastic I though I could ask you a little favor...

Turns out I have to do a small essay about animation, so I would appreciate your help. Anyway all I want you to do is answer "What is animation?" in a technical definition and a personal definition (your opinion on what consists animation).

You'd be THE MAN if you could answer this with a long badass response, but if you can't I appreciate your help anyway.

    Cheers!

  • @LionHeartPortugues I can't make a very long response, and since I'm just familiar with stop motion animation I have to stick with my personal definition :3

the craziest thing about stop motion animation, for me, is that the things you animate with are real. you can make ordinary objects to do whatever you want them to do, and that's the beauty of stop motion for me. and clay because I'm a sculptor from the start. IT'S LIKE MAGIC. I can't give a better answer now!

  • @Guldies Any answer is good, so cheers! May I ask why do you defend clay animation as your priority and not digital animation?

Anything you want me to add to my paper work? Like name, personal website, or something else. I'm asking this because this paperwork will be seen by one or two portuguese animators who like amateur animations.

  • @beeniestudios did the term animation get downgraded to below art recently or something?

  • @ObjSolid You know what I mean.

  • My all time fav!

  • needs more views.

  • @megasmit :D

  • so cool! what a great idea, the sounds are really amazing as well, they really give character to the water

  • @skullkidnow I spend alot of times working on the sound effects so i appreciate your comment SOOOOO MUCH, thank you!

  • eewwwwwwwww that's was disgusting

you vomited the water and then you caught it with your hand totally disqusting .. just kidding , nice idea =)

fantastic work as always .. keep it up dude

  • holly crap.

  • @missJSpacman CRAP

  • 7 people tried it with the water in their tap and failed.

  • go from water blob to hard rock cube, smashing it with the hammer that comes out of the black dot just to have the cube reform and rebloberize

    ...your brain!

    *is envious*

  • @mayishan oooooo glad you like my ideas :3

  • @Guldies I'm glad you made this video! *watches again*

  • This is FREAKING Fantastic!! WOW! I am completely blown away by this!! You must've studied and looked at water a lot! And the sounds (drips, light switch, squooshy noises) matched so well!! WOW! You're a pro.

  • @CandidlySubtle haha wonderful to hear, THANK YOU! and no, I didn't study the water :<

  • ....uhhh ..... wow.

  • @scryptnotistqc you like?

  • @Guldies Yeah, good stuff, man. Seemless integration of body movements really makes this great.

  • this guy is a freaking genius, LIKE

  • @thesevash thank you my friend!

  • @thesevash tytytytyty

  • That was amazing!!! My youtube channel makes stop animation. Not to popular

  • Niceeee Job !

  • @asasin864 thank you very much!

  • how did you get the spoon into the water?

  • @m0ship0t I had a bunch of destroyed spoons :)

  • one minute and 27 seconds into the video i realize "fuck i'm in the weird part of YouTube again"

  • @agentxy4 you did? then you know nothing about the weird part of youtube

  • @Guldies correct, except for it;s the weird part of youtube

  • @Guldies yah and i don't want to know anything about the wieird part of youtube

  • @agentxy4 no, you dont want to know :(

  • fuckin awesome animation

  • Spot on mate! Fine work, will be searching for more of your work now for sure.

  • @The1Virge MANY THANKS, appreciate it!

  • h-how w-was this is e-even p-possible. i'm s-still sh-shaking from the a-awesomeness

  • @TorchHamma hugs and kisses

  • wow that was very cool

  • amazing how do you do that

  • @dragoneyez44 stop motion!

  • That probably took a good while to make. Old-school, one-frame-at-a-time animation is time-consuming, but the results are more interesting than CGI. That's fine for certain things, but this is better.

  • @5jerry1 stop motion is something special and it's difficult to copy, and I really like this "art form". glad you feel the same

  • You ... you .. you .. I can't find the correct words to do your description ! Are you the good of the clay ?

  • @Mweexer haha I'm just glad you like my wooooooork

  • ur a freaking wizard

  • Excellent film Guldies. How is it that you do stop motion with something suspended in the air?

  • @PepeTheSloth thanks my friend! I got a tutorial for flying objects on my channel :)

  • This may possibly be the most awesome thing ever. Why does this not have 9,999,999,999 views?

  • @crazygamer890 aaaw glad you liked it!

  • Me:How did you make this? You:Magic *snort *snort

  • THis is great! Please make a lot more hint hint volcano!

  • @SUNglassesGURLo5 haha I will make A LOT more! thank you!

  • By the way, how did you get the clay to pour into your hand (and also interact with your hand, etc)? It doesn't look like you stopped each frame, morphed the clay and then set up the shot again, because the motion of your hand is so smooth (in some parts it seems like that's what you've done though)...I'm stumped!

  • @terrymation I made these shots in two parts, except the "pouring" part where I just needed to place the clay in my hand and try to get it right. First I moved the clay without trying to place my hand right. When the clay was in a perfect position I tried to make my hand motion to fit in :D so It's like two shots in one!

  • @terrymation hes a wizard i tell you

  • awesome

  • This isn't animation.

    This is ART

  • @beeniestudios oh my, thank you

  • @beeniestudios Animation IS art, you jerk.

  • @tylermcbridecartoons I know, why are you calling me a jerk you jerk?

  • omg i swear to god i almost had a heart attack when i saw ur hammer i have the same one the same rust i swear!

  • @TotallyEvilNightmare oh. my. god

  • wow! I went WTF! when I saw that spoon go inside the floor! :) BTW I loved the video! I'd like to know how you added sounds to this :) 'cuz I'm workin' on brickfilms with no sounds yet... pls teach me :)

  • @seawaysandland55 hahaaa lovely. thank you! like I said in the description, alot of the sound effects comes from freesounddotorg. and made like one third of them myself with a simple mic :)

  • Why did you put the magic water back??

  • @subtleserveyor I couldn't drink it :(

  • BEST STOP MOTION!

  • @gamer9157 I'm glad you like it thaaaaanks!
