Holy crap! There's low budget and there's... this.
Background looks *exactly* like the BBC Micro's low-res Teletext-compatible mode, even the letters are archetypal "double height" Teletext. Actually, I suspect they used a different machine based around the same character generator since if they'd *actually* had a BBC, they'd have used its high-res modes. Unbelievable.
The hi-res circle has obviously been superimposed later; you can see it stay still when the background shakes at 0:08. :-)
