This servi-car looks to be from the 50's or newer due to the hydraulic front forks. Older ones had the springer type front-end. All servi-cars came with the 45 cubic inch flathead engine. The latest had the fiberglass trunks but this one is metal. Nice restoration project here.
I remember all the downtown cops in Houston drove those things, and in the parks too... Then they bought 74 AMC Gremlins.... Thanks for the video.. What was up with all that Cubing or Pixel blocks in the video from time to time?
@vidman008 Thanks for watching Buddy!! I had to blur out the guys name and phone number on top of the box or he would have every knucklehead in the country calling to see if he wanted to sell it. And with my editing software thats as good as I could get it!!☺
Cool,I built a 45 cu.in. bike like this and it was fun.The engine, trans, tank (w/shifter) came from a servi-car like this but I put it on a solo hardtail frame.I was hell to stop on a hill with the foot clutch lol,you needed three legs.Striker
@805ROADKING i think i could too just can't imagine 1. how hard the parts would be to find or 2. how expensive all of that would be. we used to have a guy in Madrid that rode around on one of those that was refrigerated and he sold icecream out of it in down town madrid outside of the bull fighting arenas. was pretty neat but it was the same exact thing. and it was all white too.
what are you doin kicking at the guys pedal 0:57, who does that?
