Tip #1-Never attack the whole group when they are together

Tip #2-When you play as a hunter or any infected try to make someone cause a distraction that way the survivors freak out then you go for the kill

Tip #3-Don't always rely on the crosshair because it will fail you sometimes

Tip #4-Follow my tips and you can be the best player on Left 4 Dead

words of advice: always stay patient and ready to pounce the weaker of the 4. always attack anyone far ahead or way behind. as the tank, make sure u dont just go for one person, when they r downed, leave them. as the smoker, go on buildings it makes it harder for survivors to kill u. as the hunter, try and pounce as high and far away as possible. and lastly as the boomer, dont run straight at them, theyll kill u before u get any chance, always stay hidden. hope i helped for the future.

That's why I try to get my friends to play with me. Also, if your team won't even SPEAK to you, and you're a new player, then you're basicaly screwed.

Friendly VS players are so hard to come by these days. That is why I am usually discouraged from playing VS.

VS is actually very entertaining when you have a friendly team. You meet jackasses in EVERY online game, but there ARE nice people. I sugest making friends in campaign mode first, then play with them in VS.

Survivor skill is a huge factor of battle. If they are both evenly skilled, the infected might have the advantage due to possible tank spawn, or separation of team.
