  • that dumbhead blonde is such a shame on the human species on earth!

all talk and that too nonsense!

i would definitely marry an asian woman who knows how to cook simple healthy food instead of an american blonde who would give me potato chips for dinner because she doesnt know how to wash the dishes! useless!

  • 500+ Healthy Chinese Recipes

  • Did you know? Using alkaline water for cooking and food preparation allows you to minimize cooking time and maximize flavour. This is because of the smaller molecular structure size of the alkaline water, its permeability and its transfer of convection heat. The alkaline water will boil in half the time compared to regular water allowing food to be fully cooked in minimal time. Visit my channel for more...

  • skinny cook!

  • Too bad you always profile the ones who have problems with the language.

  • @memadman Oh noes, then why are you watching a chinese cooking show? Just watch something on French food then.

  • Its really sweet how she talks so nicely about her mom.<3 btw, you guys should check out my cooking channel!(:

  • "Add the Ginger juice, WHAT THE HECK!"

  • The funniest part is the look of total consentration and bemusement on the stupid blond host's face, like she's listening to a lecture on advanced algebra.

  • i really hate that women... rushing the chef like that

  • @kiyoko0369

it was the channels fault though since they did not give it enough time so she had to hurry her up

  • looks good

  • wow..hungry already...

  • disrespectful american media bitch! don't rush the cook like that. who gets anything of value out of this!?

sure, on the fast and superficial level (the american way!) we now know how to throw some meat and vegetables and spice in the wok and stir it around. but that's certainly not what Chinese cooking is about!!

  • I thought it was nice with the meat in an area, with a certain vegetable there as well. In the mixing it can become thoughtful, means delicious, good. When introduced add the skills of making a dinner meal plus with the additionals. Like in certain times some might mix with a rice and cut it smaller, put it. These things can might be heated, so to cooking. So, with this, many things can make a man full or a woman with full stomach, and very pleasing for the taste.

  • fuck yeah is this hot....

  • 0:01

  • "i think this is salt?"

    you gotta be kidding me....hahahaha

  • Chinese Cooking = Very Tedious.. need a lot of skills.-Less things to wash.

Western Cooking = Less Tedious -Much simpler-straight to the point. -more things to wash.

Chinese = "Secret recipe" " your control of the fire is very important" lol loads of crap. im a Chinese and i prefer western cooking. nothing to hide. Chinese cooking no matter what, the chef will say "must control the fire.very important."

Western Cooking = Small medium high, fire. =))

  • 2:15 - Add the ginger juice~~ what the heck!

  • Chinese food is soo delicious!

  • @ThePTStudios yes,it is true

  • mukemmel

  • Why not upload your cookery video for the Tropical Sun Cook Of The Year competition? The winner gets their recipes published in a cookbook and you can win an Apple iPad. There's a video about the competition at YouTube/TropicalSunFoods.

  • I love chinese food, it's so good!

  • chinese food is great

  • If you love Chinese food like me, this book is fantastic. The Chinese are masters of food. This book shows you some incredible skills the author is kind enough to give to people. Chinese cooking takes real knowhow. The timing of when to cook and add certain spices and vegetables is key.

  • Love that cooking show

  • Why did you have to hurry so much? If you don't have time, don't do it! Fry an egg instead!

  • The host is retarded, why do they even devote time to amazing recipes if they won't let them finish cooking and say crap like "Ok we only have ONE MINUTE left?" Stupid and pointless.

  • oh wow, some chef... that stupid CBS lady was holding the wok with a towel while the stove was on. Haha, never do that near an open flame... =/

  • Chinese food for gweilo and gweipo LOL

  • @telecake Chinese language for bigots LOL

  • 这逼是他吗中国人吗?瞎做

  • Proper chinese cooking is not like that.

  • @Ric3Ninja Well, how is it, then?

  • it would be easier to understand if the lady wasnt talking over her

  • 这是什么菜?

  • CAN I SNIFF YOUR FARTS?

  • i felt very empathetic when I watched this :(. Poor lady

  • blonde farts talk to much when eating or cooking... they hardly do cooking.. and their food are tastless... white woman SHUT UP and let the chinese do the talking... Its not your recipe.. blondey stop showing off and shut your mouth and listen ... just make sure u don't break your blonde nails into the chinese dishes.. ok.. duuuuffusss

  • @KILLERandSEXY did u see the blondey is also stirring with the chinese... does this blondey know that one spoon is enough to cook... she just wants to show who is the boss... wanka... she should butt out and sit in the corner... we don't need blondey's showing up every tom dick and harry's butt... they are dumb as is...

  • i can suk my own cock? oh no i just farted and shit came out...some one help me !!

  • good

  • I really like Eileene Yin-Fei Lo, and I know people *do* talk on cooking demonstrations, but I feel she was rudely "talked over" on this show, and I agree with the poster below who said if they can't afford air time to adequately air a show - then don't! Rushing someone and talking over them just negates the whole purpose of MAKING the show in the FIRST place.

  • @Marta7350 this is why CBS sucks... but they continuously wonder why their ratings are plummeting into the ground.

  • @Marta7350 couldn't agree more, such a talented Chef treated so rudely is just disgraceful

  • what a stupid show...she keeps rushing the chinese cook. "one minute left", if u cant afford to air an adequately long show, then dont. this is retarded. shes gettin rushed. remove this stupid vid from ur account CBS!

  • "I think this is sugar"??!! WTF !!! was she just tossing in anything that came at her hands or did she actually know what she was doing?

  • Disrespectful bastard.

  • @starfly7 and good morning to you too!

  • THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO TALK ONE AT A TIME! i can't frikin understand shit in so many parts....can't one shutup when the other is talking? Thats respect if u ask me...

  • The hosts always do that. God forbid we don't hear THEIR voice for 3 seconds!!!

  • hahahah lol true they should put directions as subtitles and BOTH shut up :P

  • You are an example of a quasi racist American, and one part of the reason that the Western world is going in the toilet, by the way I'm from America.

  • If you give your elders the best part of the food does that mean the baby gets the chicken butt?

  • oh really. how do they taste? like chicken?

  • Just like White castles. Delicious.

  • 2:24 You can see the packages and bottles for these ingredients in my videos. It's hard to tell what to buy if you just see them in a bowl. She and I use the same ingredients. Happy Cooking!

"Add the ginger juice! What the heck?"

What the heck is right. What a fake waspy bitch.

  • Eileene Yin-Fei Lo is amazing!

  • French New generation have open to changes now adays in terms of language, culture and food and others. Unlike 20 yrs ago when i first arrived!

If France have opened up minds especially about language long time ago, then i guess their economy have not been stagnant as now.

  • this video is about cooking... why do people find the need to start pointless arguments about nothing

  • @darkstar941 because its fun maybe?

  • @darkstar941

cos people here have much freedom to talk about their stuiped thoughts

  • @darkstar941 because of faggot jew like yourself...bitch :O

  • @pogisiG I don't get it?

  • there is nothing special, i can do better than her even i am not a chinese chef. and the woman is lying.. in china we don't cook like this, a native chinese will never add lemon or juice, or use chili of that kind, obviously her recipes are westernized to make it more presentable.

  • True.

  • I agree that the dish is nothing special because it is a very common dish in China.

However, I think her cooking has more cantonese influence which usually incorporates the western and the eastern flavors together.

Just for your reference: The juice she used was ginger juice, it enhances the flavor in the beef and we do this in certain dishes in Cantonese cooking.

  • wtf is that ? throw face siol ==

  • 2`16 is funny to watch over and over. what the hell is that?

  • You can't say one cuisine is better than the other, it's all a matter of taste - like apples aren't better than bananas, they're just different! I love dishes from all over the world - there's also stuff i wouldn't touch with a barge-pole - but each to their own taste!!

  • i am chinese and i konw how to make thoso is so easy! XD and i am only 12 year old

  • is that chinese food? it's look like american food

  • calm down....shes doing a show on an american tv station OF COURSE shes gonna cook americanized chinese food

  • So what was the cooking tip?

  • "you be the chef and I be the shoe chef."

  • put de jinja throu the gahlicpress!

  • you will not cook real chinese food in the US.

  • Nonsense! Go to any of the "Chinatowns" here in America and you'll find restaurants that serve "real" Chinese food because they're catering to people from "the old country."

You can also go to any Asian market and buy the ingredients and cookbooks you need to make it yourself. I love people who think ethnic cuisine involves some kind of magic.

  • No!!

You only can enjoy real Chinese Food in China!

Even in Chinatowns the food there is terrible, it tastes Amerian!!

  • What is "Amerian," anyway? Is that some kind of new ethnic fusion cuisine?

  • Just like KFC and Mcdonald's.

Maybe, but the fusion is a failure. They just want to cater to the American's tastes.

  • Of course. That's why when you go into these restaurants in all these Chinatowns the overwhelming majority of the patrons are Chinese.

  • Anyhow, the uppermost problem I faced in US is how to feed my stomach!

  • Maybe the problem is you're just homesick, or perhaps too finicky?

Could it also be that maybe you're just lying, and that you stuffed yourself silly when you ate in those Chinese-American restaurants, along with all those other Chinese patrons who don't seem to have a problem eating there?

  • Honestly, I am just describe my feeling about the food in America, I always thinking how can people here cook good food materials to that unsavoury, just like an Chinese saying "暴殄天物.

I admit sometimes we go to the Chinese or American buffet that's because we don't want to cook and don't know what to do in the small boring town.

Most of us find the food there is not good but it is better than nothing! We have no other choice!

  • OK, let's give you the benefit of the doubt and say you really don't enjoy the food cooked in Chinese restaurants here in America (which are almost entirely ownedy by immigrants from China, by the way). You stil haven't told me WHY the food in China supposedly tastes better. Everything happens for a reason.

By the way, the power of suggestion is very strong. Did it ever occur to you the reason you don't like the food here is because you were led to believe it wasn't as good as in China?

  • Because we have better cook and chef in China, and the people here-immigrants from China-as you said, maybe know nothing about cook and can only find job in the kitchen in US.

And the taste in China is much much better than here. If you have Chinese friends, they can tell you. I am not lying!!!

  • because in China, they use indigenous ingredients. Example, ma fu tofu here in the US doesnt have szechuan pepper, but in China, they cook it with generous amount of szechuan peppercorns.

The Chinese food here in the US is very Americanized/commercialized to suit the palate of the majority. Chinese food is very intense and dynamic in flavor that is overwhelming to the palate of the majority in the US.

  • correction ma po tofu, Sichuan peppercorns.

Sichuan peppercorns are banned here in the U.S. so I assume that Chinese food is better in China because they are able to use complete and genuine ingredients which make the dishes authentic.

  • omg i think you're a troll

  • Me? A troll? Surely you jest. Think about it. If I was a troll would I be this nice to you? Right now I'd have either lost interest in this thread or else I'd be calling you and Chinese people all sorts of names. Please, let's keep this civil, ok?

The ban on Sichuan peppercorns was lifted by the USDA way back in 2005. Look it up. Again, the Chinese restaurants in Chinatowns cater to CHINESE IMMIGRANTS, not to the majority of Americans.

  • BTW, everyone is entitled to their own opinion....Italian cuisine is much better enjoyed in Italy, so as Chinese in China. Its the concept of origin and authenticity that people most appreciate. Its something the US wishes to have.

It's really hard to give justice to something you really havent experienced yet, but its easy to pretend though. I really like traveling a lot, learning from different cultures and society. You should too.

  • PS. Chinese restaurants cater to all ASIAN IMMIGRANTS, and all other people in the US. Well I guess you wont understand, youre an american, and USAmerica has no real culture.

  • I want to thank you for that incredibly bigoted, chauvinistic reply. It basically validates my till now hidden opinion of you. You're not really a gourmet. You're just a super-nationalistic troll who wants to make himself feel superior by bashing another country.

Chinese restaurants in American Chinatowns cater PRIMARILY to Chinese patrons, which is why you'll find none of the help speaks anything other than Chinese.

  • our country is unique. why? because our country's culture is made up of all the different cultures in the world and so our country america is very special WE have all the different cultures and you have one our country is a great example of toleration. what about yours huh?

  • every county has different cultures imo...

  • i dont think america has a culture it has cultures but i just dont get one thing about america they say we have religious freedom to any religion but why does it say on the dollar bill in god we trust thats just not respect

  • sure it is, you can be catholic, protestant, baptist, quaker, whatever!

  • oh but what if we dont believe in anything and we strongly stick to that?

  • ps:im also chinese

  • well, i was joking about how christian-centric america seems to be, but in all seriousness the founding fathers were all against a christian nation and did not want to give any political influence to any church. funny how things work out.

  • I have experienced Chinese food cooked by Chinese chefs using ingredients from China. I noticed you didn't address the fact you were wrong about Szechuan peppercorns, by the way. No secret there as to why.

Chinese culture may be far older than American, but our culture (yes, we do have one) is felt throughout the world. Your's isn't. Live with that. Bye!

  • there is nothing wrong about what I've said about sichuan/szechuan peppercorn. All I've said is correct which is hard for you to accept coz you're acting like mr. "know-it-all" but in fact you're pretentious and misleading with all your arguments.

Don't even forget that all the cultures around the world made up the US. The WORLD LETS YOU FEEL WHAT CULTURE IS. You think US can survive without China? or without Middle Eastern countries? Think again!

Now can you live with that? I guess not! Loser!

  • Q/ What's the difference between America and a pot of yoghurt?

A/ Give the yoghurt long enough and it will develop it's own culture!

  • Answer: America is a continent. Yogurt/yoghurt(as u say it) already has developed culture in it, thats why its called yogurt; never a regular milk.

  • Culture is retarded, for people who don't like change. Culture because it lacks change for the most part is destined to vanish. It also is discriminative and isolates people to be open-minded. America or US is a country where everyone can come and bring a little of their culture with them, where it is ok to try new things.

  • Yeah, you really welcome immigrants in the US don't you?

How's your Mexican cooking coming along?

    Know any Native Indian recipe's?

    Dickhead.

  • I love mexican food, personaly I do welcome immigrants... my dad is one for starters, Native Americans didn't live around where I grew up.

  • Have you ever lived in the US?

  • America is a bad informend country, people are oblivious to rest of the world.

China is a BOOMING economy, because people work hard, besides China is beautifull...i know, cuz i have BEEN THERE.

  • The media brainwashes the US because the US is overrun with capitalists who control what is available to them in the same respect for what is going on in North Korea... but only fractionally.

  • krayzgerman - you are absolutely correct about the US media (not that it has anything to do with this video) ... speaking of which, I laugh at her so-called status of best Chinese chef in America - HAHA. The peppers were not even cut right (very important to authentic Chinese cooking), and you do NOT add the ingredients to the marinade directly to the meat. You mix them in a bowl first, then add the beef. Anyone should know that.

  • rovpilot1... and because Chinese people are WISE!

  • you sir, do not understand culture. culture is about exchange, about borrowing and mixing. like how kurosawa made movies inspired by john ford, and later americans made westerns based on kurosawa movies. that is the quintessential nature of culture.

however... the us is hardly a tolerant country, to say that reeks of ignorance and shows a need to validate your home. the us has it's merits to be sure, but to imply that it does not discriminate or isolate? please

  • Chinese culture is not felt around the world? ur kidding right? Im not Chinese but i have to disagree with u completely. why would u say something like that?

  • thank you, you are absolutely right!!! In almost every state in the US has Chinatown, even in UK, London, Singapore, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, ect...But I've never seen any US town of whatsoever...

  • that's why now you write in english, right? :)

  • hah!? lol! yes its English, not American! Duh!!!??

  • We don't use MSG either. I"m just saying that they use oil to bring it out. But yeah. MSG isn't a good thing. XD

  • MSG is awesome. Its one of the best seasonings ever.. its a myth its bad for you... the oldest age of death country(japan) has HUGE amounts of MSG in there diets.

  • im agree whit u wenus845.u dawm right .deveras guey no me creses yo tambien soy cabron y me peo en lagua.

  • Yall ever notice the host on these news cooking shows always end up saying something dumb? "Add the ginger juice, what the heck?!" And on another show just like this I think it was also CBS the guy was like "Yea, so that sake is pretty spicy." Then the two chefs look at each other like "What the fuck?" Then he is like "Oh, I mean Wasabi..."

  • ETAYLORGROUP:presents KORIAN

    cooking school 101

  • 厨房器皿干净一点,电磁锅,就是西方厨师一样了。

  • lol, hey. This is for fellow american who care less about chinese food. To them, this is very appealing already.

  • 厨师化妆好一点。动作慢一点,说话诗意一点,就是法国,意大利厨师一样了。

  • 我想一些狗肉

  • ADD THE GINGER JUICE!! What the heck!

    :p

  • ...just two tablespoonful of oil... what the heck! haha

The peppers are nice and colourful, but I think they were cut a little too large. I'd triangle them. But what a sexy dish. I'm hungry now.
