@MrWonnabee Not fake. It has only a filter to stabilise the video, it was recorded by a mobile. You can bet 50 euros it's original, I have obviously the original without any edition.

@lNachete Wouldn't be the first time that VW have made a small city car with slightly long gearing in the name of economy...

In any case, I had a 45PS Polo which would do ~88km/h in 2nd and was still fairly responsive, so a 60PS Up! doing ~98km/h isn't going to seem drastically over-geared. In comparison, a (105PS) Megane I just got rid of went up to about 101km/h in 2nd but felt quite sporty thanks to the larger engine. It's not unheard of... :-)
