#44 horses patti smith
#46 legend bob marley wanted to buy it
#47 a love supreme john coltrane and a fair few of the next 450.

now white love by one dove rolling stone......that's a good song. im listening to it right now on my computer. i expect this in your top 500 of rock songs.
hello again matt. please tell rolling stone to put the clash's crap album at no. 1008 where it belongs......come around and erase my memory somehow. i wont see it listed in the top 100 when i next go looking...and the universe will have returned to normal again. thanks. tell tom caramello he is f u c k e d if this is his favourite ablum....but then it doesnt surprise me with the calibre of songs i hearsd audioslave come out with.
hello matt. could you please tell your employer that i strongly dispute their finding that the clash album "london calling" is the 8th greatest rock and roll album ever. how come i bought it....played it once....hated it....and never played it again. am i the only one who feels this way? it sounded truly unmusical. could i be so strongly misguided on this album. can somebody else back me up? led zep 4 at no.66...what the f##k happened there? could you entire chart be a piece of crap?
The SEC has been a traffic cop since i worked in NYSE market surveillance back in 1993. The number of cases of frontrunning and insider trading were many, but the vast majority were small fines and "traffic tickets". The policy of the SEC has long been to not rock the boat, and to keep the status quo.
Before I even watch this, I'll have probs w/ it, because this woman is the sourest, most monochromatic personality on television of radio. Everything sucks, no matter how bad you think it is, it's worse, and there's nothing you can do about it, but you should go do something anyway. Christ, Amy, I gave for years, hoping someone else would become the face of this network, and Amy would become an in-the-booth producer...no wonder its stories never make it past YouTube.
I can give you a practical example of why some on Wall Street are not in jail today. I am a currently unemployed legal videographer. I worked for a leading national provider of video deposition services that was closed in the first round of major credit defaults in 2007.
The cases I worked on involved the civil litigation of telecom CEOs, CFOs and other corporate officers who's activities had already lead to criminal convictions by the SEC. (continued)
@dogstar7 The attorneys I worked for were trying to collect on behalf of a class of "institutional" investors who lost billions in the stock market when these criminal activities destroyed values overnight. These investors were public employee pension fund providers in western states.
Also overnight, in 2007, the largest legal temp agencies in America were shuttered because they could no longer find credit lines to support their payrolls.
Taibbi wont tell you that the government created this mess. They set the rules up and set their crony version of "capitalism" loose. Taibbi is a favorite of the socialists at MSNBC, but when he debates an intelligent conservative he gets spanked. See his video with Anderson Cooper and Dana Loesch
@12345678tube this is very much true, the current system is corporatism/socialism... we havent had true capitalism anywhere just glimpses of it... you cant really have free markets with a state, get rid of the state & we may actually get liberty & prosperity, until then the state will always be a parasite on the freedom of men.
@12345678tube@12345678tube What a dumb ignorant comment. Who gives a fuck who created this mess? The fact is that all of these financial guys are as crooked as your fucking dick and should be prosecuted and rotting for their sins. Taibbi is one of the few journalists out there exposing the truth and I have yet to see anyone articulate that can come close to debunking him, least of all you. Go back to watching Fox News where you belong, 12345678tube.
I, for one, do care about who created these problems. How does one expect to avoid repeating these mistakes? Real unemployment is over 17%. People are losing their homes. There is no way SS will stay solvent (in fact, it is already insolvent). Why would you not care? Oh, that's right, you have your biases and are too much of a fucking moron to see when you are wrong. I like the fox news comment; it illustrates your weak grasp on reality.

I agree with Matt. Maddoff is the only bastard in jail because he's the only one who defrauded rich people.

The Wisconsin protests won't produce much considering the union bosses remain pretty loyal to the Democratic Party.
