@brucey39 looks like a 18" axe style fiberglass handled stilleto hammer, they have a titanium head. very nice hammers but they cost a good amount

you could use it in other places as well. say you had to do a horizontal cut in a post already standing. fix the jig to the beam and cut struggle free.
