kyle field is so damn loud. if i was the coach of an opposing team. id get recordings of the sound from one of A&M's game and play them while my offense was on the field all week during practice if i was going to play the ags that week. cus if your not used to not hearing yourself think. you tend to screw up quite a bit.
I'm an Aggie fan, so I would have to root against you, but that's a good idea! I never thought of doing a recording of Kyle Field. Have you ever actually been there? "Loud" is an extreme understatement!
lol thats why i said SO DAMN LOUD. lol. im an aggies fan too. i was just pointing out what i would do if i coached a team that had to play the ags at home. and yes i have been there many times. most recently i watched them beat baylor 38 to 3.
i remember this day, i watched this game at MadHatters that afternoon - it was a friggin' riot at Northgate after that win. one of the few times A&M has actually come through in a pinch...
Best game I ever attended. I was in the begining boot line when the Ags ran onto the field. I had just gotten my Ring that week and it flew off my finger and bounced among the players as they ran out. Good Bull, didn't lose it.
biggest mistake A&M ever made was letting go of Slocum and replacing him with Fran. That is what absolutly drove a&m into the ground football wise. hopefully sherman does his thing there.
I know right? I guess beating the number 1 team in he country and the winniest coach ever in A&M history means nothing? A&M should of been 8-4 that year but blew the Tech and Mizzue game
@Korey1234 I think R.C. was fired because in '02, while the upset of OU was great, my Huskers went in to College Station and beat the aggies. We were hardly mediocre that year, too.

It almost makes me shed a tear to see how inspired our Ags used to fight. I hope that the new generation of farmers strive to walk in the footsteps of our great tradition. Thank you to all who helped create the pride of the Aggie spirit, including coach Slocum and Terrance Kiel. Rest in peace Aggie brother. Thank you again.
that was...how long ago? oh yeah, the dust bowl hadn't happened yet. Stoops record in Norman is 58-2 will be 59-2 when we beat #2 Texas Tech. and what was the score in College Station last week? oh yeah 66-28. So, watch what you say.
Hey thanks Mobile-homa. Do you enjoy being to the north of what experts have labeled the most business-friendly state, with the most cities listed as "best places to live?"
The only reason OU football has been any good is that they've managed to take products out of Texas; good recruiting and coaching.
Hey I wouldn't be talking. We whooped you this year 66-28, last year 42-14, and beat you the year before. In 2003, we killed you all 77-0. The Aggies have nothing on the Sooners. Also Bradford is from Oklahoma.
If it wasn't already obvious, I wasn't completely speaking about football. I was dissing your state because it's a crappy place to live. I've lived in both states.
Of course there are some OU stars, like Bradford, from OU. But there are more TEXANS on your lineup than Okies. Count them. Oh, and Adrian Peterson???
yes. i know oklahoma isn't a crappy place to live. If you live in the good parts ofo oklahoma, it's not bad. I've lived in both states, too. In oklahoma, there's no big news. In Dallas where I lived, we always heard about some gang fights and drive by shootings.
its true all of north dallas is VERY wealthy and a very beautiful place to live... Thats prolly why bush is living there now... Dallas suburbs are also VERY nice... Where i live in Southlake (20mins from downtown) is very charming and was recently named the most affluent area in the UNITED STATES to live
Now THIS is Aggie football like it's supposed to be. I was at that game, I remember how loud it was, and Kyle Field was electrified. This remains one of the best games (if not the best) I ever attended.
You want to see some good aggie footage check out what happened in OU vs Texas A&M 2003. It's when A&M gets what they deserve for trying to replace R.C. Slocum.
true. Any Aggie you'll talk to will agree that firing Slocum was freaking retarded. The guy had some problems chosing a quarterback but he put together an almighty defense
your an idiot! we dont hate ou or tech, we just dont like them. WE HATE TEXAS MORE THAN ANY ONE TEAM HATES ANOTHER!!! Tuck Fexas And ou aint that bad because they whoop tu's ass every year
Yeah. Let's celebrate our hate. I love to hate. Hate is awesome and our school is so cool because we have so much of it. I hate people who don't hate. All schools are inferior to us because they don't have as much hate as us. HATE.
This is the a&m I liked. they had swagger and that tough guy attitude.. When R.C was their they put better fotoball players in pros then u.t. R.C was their best coach. Should have gave him more time Reggie would have been a first round pick a QB.
fail. Corps members picked the original reveille on the side of the road and tried to hide it in their dorms, the dog would not stop barking and was therefore discovered but instead of evicting it they decided to christen it Reveille I and started a storied A&M tradition. Reveille I was actually a black mut. Not unlike our current president...
That's not true actually, the origins of reveille are unknown... The collie reveille was given to the school was the point I was making, also Slocum couldn't win in the Big 12.
Yeah, man. Fran had soooo much trouble winning 9 games in 06. Or going to the Cotton Bowl in 04. Know what you're talking about before you embarrass yourself again.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH. Oh yeah, 9 whole wins in 06'. So bad ass! I think Texas would have traded its BCS National Championship for that. A cotton bowl??? LMFAO. Aggies are so funny.
wtf dude. you said the ags struggled to just win a couple of games. they were just proving you wrong. they didnt say 9-3 was better than a national championship. learn your shit man. stop deflecting. man up. and admit you made a mistake when posting that the ag coaches had trouble just winning a couple of games. if you cant admit your mistakes your just another pussy who talks trash on youtube.
Yes, but those 3 losses were by a total of 5 points. Texas won the BCS championship in '05, tard. If you watched ANY SWC football before the big 8-SWC merger than you would know that the cotton bowl was pretty highly touted.
Fail again, sorta, on how Rev got her name. The dog would howl along with the bugler when he played Revielle to wake the corps members. Thats why they called her Revellie. I cant remember where the corps was coming back from that they picked her up, but it may have been Waco.
Every time i see this game recaped, it makes me mad at what Dennis Franchione did to the Texas A&M football program. I can't even fathom how he was able to field such crappy teams, and what a bad job he did at coaching. I thank God dennis is gone and it can only get better. since that game aTm is 17-10 against OU, in 2002 they were at 11-10, wtf
Oh, what a beautiful victory. But why must we ruin the video with some crappy techno? Seriously, represent A&M with some real music. I would much rather hear the 12th Man than some machine made "music."
Too bad Reggie was too injured to produce other games like this. He was unstoppable!
Yea a big win for us a HUGE one but Slocum wasnt great really he never proved anything to me besides our 1998 Big 12 championship but ANYTHING is better than fran now he really did ruin Reggie McNeal, Reggie could have been a heisman favoritte if not winner.
this game was yet another example of ou letting the big play ie the bomb pass by an amatuer freshman this time, destroy another season that could have been a championship, same goes for the osu game of that year, 3 bomb passes - fields to "the great" rashaun woods(where is he now?) the secondary being over anxious and sabotaging. 01,02,03 what could have been.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
what is with the collie dog? what a retarded mascot has nothing to do with an "aggie". just like the kissing in the stands puke fest everything bout this college makes me sick.
Actually, if you're not as clearly uneducated as you sound, you might know that the 'ag' in aggie, goes with, AGRICULTURE, a.k.a. farming! And a collie is a FARM DOG! I hate ignorance.
Yeah JohnRedkorn, you beat us bad, 77-0. To keep bringing it up on a site that celebrates the year we had a great day against you shows you immaturity and impotence. Go away.
"Sad that this was Reggie's best game during his whole career here... "
i.e. sad that Reggie could never do anything more of significant substance... sad that he was a flash-in-the-pan... sad that the Aggies kept struggling... etc. etc. etc. Time to stop aiming so low Ags...
You can thank Fran for that. The man takes great armed QBs and turns them into running pussies. Look at McGee, same story. But that kid has the biggest heart for A&M which will always overcome the retardation of Fran.
Yeah Im hoping we have some more pass in our offense. Im tired of all this option, option, option. Its not a play that should be run so much. Unfortunately, thats Fran.
ya... he says we are going to be passing more... McGee broke the state HS records for pass yrds and pass TDs... and if u look at his statistics %wise he is argueably the most accurate and aware QB in the nation... if Coach Fran doesnt pull something like the 3rd and goal vs Neb and OU... Hes good at recruiting... but... his playcalls are questionable... Now i dont think we should take the option out... but we should do it a lot less

Fran has destroyed the A&M Fracnchise that used to be feared

Every time i see this game recaped, it makes me mad at what Dennis Franchione did to the Texas A&M football program. I can't even fathom how he was able to field such crappy teams, and what a bad job he did at coaching. I thank God dennis is gone and it can only get better. since that game aTm is 17-10 against OU, in 2002 they were at 11-10, wtf

This song is so stupid for this video. Anywhere else it would be great.

cant believe that was 6 years ago. i miss reggie :( he had an nfl career ahead of him, he just couldnt stay out of trouble..

Oh, what a beautiful victory. But why must we ruin the video with some crappy techno? Seriously, represent A&M with some real music. I would much rather hear the 12th Man than some machine made "music."
Too bad Reggie was too injured to produce other games like this. He was unstoppable!

yea that is true Techno sucks

Goodbye Fran. Hello Coach Sherman.

Yea a big win for us a HUGE one but Slocum wasnt great really he never proved anything to me besides our 1998 Big 12 championship but ANYTHING is better than fran now he really did ruin Reggie McNeal, Reggie could have been a heisman favoritte if not winner.
Ags1fan 4 years ago
Come on, how about some of those SWC Championships, as well as keeping A&M in the top 10 and top 5 consistently through the early 90s?
LDSTexanJTS 4 years ago
I know im an aggie myself i was just pointing out slocum weve won 19 conference championships.

Come on now, how about those SWC Championships, as well as maintaining a spot in the top 5 and top 10 throughout the early 90s?
But I agree about Reggie...frick, man.

it's amazing what a vertical game can do, none of that x-axis crap we've been seeing all year...
blimpee777 4 years ago
this game was yet another example of ou letting the big play ie the bomb pass by an amatuer freshman this time, destroy another season that could have been a championship, same goes for the osu game of that year, 3 bomb passes - fields to "the great" rashaun woods(where is he now?) the secondary being over anxious and sabotaging. 01,02,03 what could have been.

what is with the collie dog? what a retarded mascot has nothing to do with an "aggie". just like the kissing in the stands puke fest everything bout this college makes me sick.
daftpfnk 4 years ago
Actually, if you're not as clearly uneducated as you sound, you might know that the 'ag' in aggie, goes with, AGRICULTURE, a.k.a. farming! And a collie is a FARM DOG! I hate ignorance.

Yeah JohnRedkorn, you beat us bad, 77-0. To keep bringing it up on a site that celebrates the year we had a great day against you shows you immaturity and impotence. Go away.

THAT'S not sad, that performance would have been most guy's best game while at [insert school here]

"Sad that this was Reggie's best game during his whole career here... "
i.e. sad that Reggie could never do anything more of significant substance... sad that he was a flash-in-the-pan... sad that the Aggies kept struggling... etc. etc. etc. Time to stop aiming so low Ags...

Reggie McNeal coulda and shoulda been a great player...
AcieLawIVfan 4 years ago
You can thank Fran for that. The man takes great armed QBs and turns them into running pussies. Look at McGee, same story. But that kid has the biggest heart for A&M which will always overcome the retardation of Fran.
rdff41 4 years ago
well that might be tru for McNeal but McGee had a torn tricep last year

true*
AcieLawIVfan 4 years ago
Yeah Im hoping we have some more pass in our offense. Im tired of all this option, option, option. Its not a play that should be run so much. Unfortunately, thats Fran.
rdff41 4 years ago
ya... he says we are going to be passing more...
AcieLawIVfan 4 years ago
u are 100% right. that is all very true.
